Abstract:
A method of displaying digital images is described in which a display length indicator is received and digital images are accessed. A set of digital images are selected from the accessed digital images in accordance with the display length indicator and displayed in a predetermined order. The method may be performed by a computer program, which may be embodied on a computer readable medium.
Abstract:
A method for forming a nozzle chamber of an inkjet printhead includes the steps of depositing a sacrificial layer on a wafer substrate; etching the sacrificial layer to define a deposition area for forming sidewalls of the nozzle chamber; depositing a structural layer over the sacrificial layer and into the deposition area; etching the structural layer to define an ink ejection port and a plurality of etchant holes, the etchant holes being etched to a dimension for facilitating the establishment of sufficient surface tension across the etchant hole to restrict egress of ink therethrough from the nozzle chamber; and etching away the sacrificial layer using a sacrificial etchant, the sacrificial etchant being applied to the sacrificial layer via the etchant holes.
Abstract:
A camera unit includes a display configured to display an image to be captured. An image sensor is configured to digitally capture the displayed image. A card reader is configured to read a removable data card carrying distortion information. A printer is configured to print a distorted image on print media. The distorted image is a version of the captured image which has been distorted in accordance with the distortion information. The printer includes a replaceable print roll carrying both the print media and ink to be printed upon the print media. A validation apparatus is configured to validate the replaceable print roll and enable the printer to print the distorted image only subsequent to validation of the print roll.
Abstract:
A printhead is provided having a substrate having a droplet ejection side and a liquid supply side opposite the droplet ejection side, at least one nozzle formed on the droplet ejection side of the substrate having a drop ejection actuator and an associated drop ejection aperture for ejecting drops of liquid, ducting extending from the liquid supply side into the substrate and terminating before reaching the droplet ejection side, and at least one liquid inlet for establishing fluid communication between the ducting and the nozzle. The ducting has a smaller cross section transverse to flow direction than that of the drop ejection aperture of the nozzle.
Abstract:
For automatically transmitting an image file, a system transmits the file automatically through specifically specifying information for file transmission such as an address of a destination. The system includes a memory for storing a data file and an automatic transmission control file for briefly describing information of a file name of the file to be transmitted and a destination address, and a communication unit for transmitting the data file according to the automatic transmission control file. Therefore, the system can transmit the data file automatically only by having a memory storing the data file and automatic transmission control file connected to the communication unit.
Abstract:
An image sensing and printing device is provided has a housing which houses an area image sensor, a printing mechanism and processor. The image sensor senses a viewed image to be printed on media and generates pixel data representing the viewed image. The printing mechanism defines a media feed path and includes a printhead assembly of a pagewidth printhead having at least one printhead chip that spans the media feed path and a feed mechanism which feeds media along the path. The processor includes processing circuitry interconnected with image sensor and printhead interfaces. The image sensor interface converts the pixel data into an internal format and writes the converted data to the processing circuitry which for conversion to print image data. The printhead interface provides signals representing the print image data to the printhead so that the printhead generate a printed representation of the viewed image.
Abstract:
A camera device includes an image sensor for capturing an image. A printer includes an ink ejection printhead and is configured to print the captured image. A replaceable print roll includes an ink reservoir section configured to supply ink to the printer for printing. A validation apparatus is configured to validate the replaceable print roll and enable the printer to print the captured image only subsequent to validation of the print roll.
Abstract:
