摘要: The objective of this invention is to provide a motor which can reduce occurrence of a torque reduction in the overload, and also lower the temperature of a motor main body immediately even in the case of a temperature rise in the motor main body. This motor comprises: a stator 20 that is constituted by a stator main body 1 having a plurality of slots 4 formed on the circumference of the main body with equal intervals from each other and teeth 3 each of which is located between the slots 4, and extends outward along the radial direction from the slot bottom face of the slots 4 with the same width, and a coil bobbin 7 that is attached to each of the teeth 3 of the stator main body 1, and is formed by winding a wire 6 around a bobbin 5 that has been preliminarily made from an insulating material such as a resin, in a concentrated winding system; and a rotor 2 that is maintained on the circumference of the stator 20 concentrically with the stator main body 1, in a manner so as to face the stator main body 1 through a predetermined air gap 19.

摘要: Methods are disclosed for rapid and specific fluorescent staining of biological tissue samples that substantially preserve biological molecules such as mRNA. Methods for microdissecting tissue to obtain pure populations of cells or tissue structures based upon identifying and excising cells or tissue structures that are labeled with fluorescent specific binding agents are also included. A laser capture microdissection apparatus useful for identifying and isolating cells and tissue structures following rapid immunofluorescent staining is also disclosed.

摘要: A vehicle allocation system oversees the operation of a plurality of auto-piloted vehicles, used to transport passengers between major ports such as airports, train stations, shopping malls, etc. The vehicle allocation system establishes a search time interval and predicts passenger demands and the status of the monitored vehicles within the search time interval. A predetermined number of vehicles are assigned to each of the ports in an area. Each port includes a parking lot or queue to accommodate waiting vehicles and a terminal which notifies a host computer of the number of currently available vehicles, passenger demands for vehicles, vehicle destination information, arrival information and so forth. The host computer has a memory storing predicted demand data based upon past demand history. The host computer calculates any excess or deficiency of vehicles in the ports on the basis of the predicted demand data and the information obtained from the terminals within the search time interval. On the basis of the result of such calculation, vehicles are reallocated from ports having an excess of vehicles to ports lacking sufficient vehicles.

摘要: The present invention provides the base sequence defined as Sequence No. 1, DNA comprising a part of the sequence, or DNA containing the sequence, and relates to a promoter gene of the porcine complement inhibitor. In generating transgenic pigs transformed with human complement inhibitor and/or such thrombosis-inhibiting factors as thrombomudulin (collectively termed the complement inhibitor), DNA of the invention can effectively be used to express the complement inhibitor by integrating the gene into the upstream part of the human complement-inhibitor gene. Since hyperacute rejection, which occurs on transplanting a porcine organ or tissue to man, can be prevented, xenotransplantaion of the porcine organs and tissues to man will become possible. Therefore, the problem of the lack of donors for transplantation can be solved.
