The invention discloses an handheld sexual appliance providing improved means for stimulating the Grafenberg area or G-spot of the female genitalia, the appliance comprising an elongate body having a first span, wherein is a handle region, and a second span that is angled upwards from said first span. In the second span, a means for stimulating the Grafenberg area comprises one or more of a mechanical finger that oscillates in a reciprocal motion within a protuberance that protrudes from the dorsal surface of said second span. Thereby, the G-spot stimulating means will directly impinge upon the Grafenberg area when inserted into the vagina, while the precise angle and force of that interaction can also be finely adjusted.

A method for controlling movement using an active powered device including an actuator, joint position sensor, muscle stress sensor, and control system. The device provides primarily muscle support although it is capable of additionally providing joint support (hence the name “active muscle assistance device”). The device is designed for operation in several modes to provide either assistance or resistance to a muscle for the purpose of enhancing mobility, preventing injury, or building muscle strength. The device is designed to operate autonomously or coupled with other like device(s) to provide simultaneous assistance or resistance to multiple muscles.

A respiration-assistance apparatus or method can include or use a lifting element such as to cyclically push, pull, or lift, toward a superior direction of the subject, at least one subject region during an inhalation portion of a respiration cycle of the subject. A cyclical member can couple the lifting element to a fixed reference. Abdominal or ribcage compression can be provided. A multi-action or other cam can be used, such as together with a reciprocating element. Examples can be configured for use with a wheelchair, a bed, a vacuum or suction affixation element, a wearable garment, etc.
Abstract:
Preferred systems for assisting clearance of an acutely thrombosed artery substantially surrounded by boney external body surfaces which are resistant to deformative displacement relative to the thrombosed artery by the application of external percussive force are described. The method consists of applying targeted, localized, non-invasive, high infrasonic to low sonic frequency vibratory percussion with a serial impact frequency much greater than the pulse rate of a patient being treated, the percussion directed towards a remote, preferably superficial “target vessel” residing palpably close to the skin surface. Marked vessel deformations with resultant blood pressure and flow fluctuations are thereby induced by the percussion within the target vessel which propagate to the acutely thrombosed artery to provide localized agitation and turbulence to assist thrombolytic and/or IV microbubble delivery and effectiveness in facilitating reperfusion. Preferred apparatus for treatment of ST elevation myocardial infarction, acute ischemic stroke and acute pulmonary embolus are presented.

A linear actuator is disclosed, that comprises a stator containing more than one coil, a mover containing more than one magnet, each said magnet separated from the adjacent magnet by a spacer, a power supply operable to provide current to said coils of said stator, at least one magnetic flux sensor, and a controller operable to control the relative motion between said stator and said mover, the controller comprising a module to measure the magnetic flux observed by the sensor and use that as feedback to control the motion of the mover relative to the stator. In a preferred embodiment, this linear actuator is used in a sexual appliance with user control over the linear actuator motion profiles.

A cardio pulmonary CPR device and method provides enhanced circulation by an inventive sequence of states of chest compression and airway valve opening and closure. The embodiments of the invention produce enhanced circulation during cardiac arrest, while maintaining a degree of ventilation to the patient, including oxygen delivery in some embodiments. Some embodiments include mechanical compression units. Other embodiments include a compression sensor to detect manually delivered compressions.

A powered device augments a joint function of a human during a gait cycle using a powered actuator that supplies an augmentation torque, an impedance, or both to a joint, and a controller that modulates the augmentation torque, the impedance, and a joint equilibrium according to a phase of the gait cycle to provide at least a biomimetic response. Accordingly, the device is capable of normalizing or augmenting human biomechanical function, responsive to a wearer's activity, regardless of speed and terrain.
Abstract:
The present technology is the use of the combination to treat a patient and the treatment of a patient. Sine waves are generated digitally by the combination. Data validation is used to ensure correct directional alignment prior to device activation. Patient safety and consistency in treatment protocols are considered in the spinal and upper cervical impulse treatment design. A patient is treated with smooth sinusoidal waveform with a force of about 8 N to about 12.2 N with a Z-axis of acceleration (shear acceleration) of about 0.5 g to about 5g at about 5 Hertz (Hz) to about 200 Hertz. Treatment conditions can be varied depending upon the size of the patient, which includes human and veterinary patients. The method is non-invasive.

This invented multiple-phase dynamic cushion comprises a frame, at least a driving source, at least a transmission assembly, and clusters of plural strips interleaved in parallel. Taking a two-phase embodiment as an example, the two-phase strips interleave with each other, in parallel, to form the cushion's surface and alternate their tensions in turn; when one phase's strips periodically tighten to support the user's body, the other phase's strips will loosen, allowing the user's body covered by the loosened strips to take a rest, averting a pressure-ulcer risk. The driving source is energized by an altering energy, making the two strip groups alternate in loosening and tightening states periodically in turn. This invention can be converted into a portable dynamic chair when the four holes on the bottom of its four corners are inserted with legs; it can also be converted into a dynamic support for a lying human body.
