The diffuse reflection material includes white scattering particles and an adhesive agent, where the whiteness of the white scattering particles is greater than 85, and the white scattering particles contain high reflection scattering particles with a whiteness of greater than 90, high refraction scattering particles with a refractive index of greater than or equal to 2.0, and high thermal conductivity scattering particles, where the high thermal conductivity scattering particles are boron nitrite and/or aluminum nitride particles, and the particle shape of the high thermal conductivity scattering particles is rod-like or flat. The reduction in the thickness of the diffuse reflection layer is realized while keeping a high reflectivity, thus causing the wavelength conversion device to have both a high light efficiency and high heat stability.

A dielectric slip composition comprises an organic vehicle and a dielectric glass composition comprising at least about 20 wt % and no more than about 50 wt % silicon dioxide, based upon 100% total weight of the glass composition, at least about 10 wt % and no more than about 50 wt % alkali metal oxides, based upon 100% total weight of the glass composition, and at least about 1 wt % and no more than about 10 wt % of at least one transition metal oxide. A method of forming an electronic device is also provided. The method includes the steps of applying at least one dielectric tape to at least one non-planar surface of a substrate, and subjecting the at least one dielectric tape to one or more thermal treatment steps to form a dielectric layer.

A light emitting device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate; a light emitting unit interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a sealing material bonding the first substrate to the second substrate and sealing the light emitting unit. The sealing material comprises V+4. In addition, a glass frit, a composition for forming a sealing material, and a method of manufacturing a light emitting device using the composition for forming a sealing material are provided to obtain the light emitting device. The sealing material of the light emitting device can be easily formed by coating and irradiation of electro-magnetic waves, so that manufacturing costs are low and deterioration of the light emitting unit occurring when sealing material is formed can be substantially prevented. The sealing material has good sealing properties and thus a light emitting device including the sealing material has a long lifetime.

The object of the invention is to produce a durable, gastight and high-temperature resistant connection between components made of non-oxidic ceramic. Shaped parts made of the ceramic are provided on the surfaces to be joined with a solder of 80-30% by weight yttrium oxide and/or 55-15% by weight zirconium oxide, 20-70% by weight aluminum oxide, 0-50% by weight silicon dioxide and 0-10% by weight silicon, and subsequently the temperature at the joint area is increased above the melting temperature of the solder by means of a laser without the presence of a protective gas atmosphere or a vacuum.

Glass enamel compositions according to the present invention form predominantly bismuth titanate and optionally zinc titanate crystals upon firing. Preferably, glass enamel compositions according to the invention include a glass component that includes by weight from about 11% to about 52% SiO2, from 10.2% to about 40% TiO2, from about 5% to about 75% Bi2O3, up to about 8% B2O3, up to about 14% BaO+SrO, and up to about 45% by weight ZnO, where the sum of Bi2O3 and ZnO comprises from about 30% to about 85% of the glass component by weight.
