Abstract: A network switch for network communications includes an embedded programmable state machine to monitor data flows through the switch. The programmable state machine is configured to retain selectable states of selectable data packet fields. Programmable switch logic operative with the programmable state machine is configured to output one or more potential actions to be taken based on a selectable computation of detected selectable states. The programmable state machine can be implemented with either table lookups or flexible logic.

Abstract: A wireless communication device (alternatively, device, WDEV, etc.) includes at least one processing circuitry configured to support communications with other WDEV(s) and to generate and process signals for such communications. In some examples, the device includes a communication interface and a processing circuitry, among other possible circuitries, components, elements, etc. to support communications with other WDEV(s) and to generate and process signals for such communications. A WDEV generates an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) frame that includes a preamble that specifies allocation and/or non-allocation of at least one resource unit (RU) for a communication channel and transmits the OFDMA frame to at least one other wireless communication device to be processed by the at least one other wireless communication device to determine the allocation of the at least one RU for the communication channel or the non-allocation of the at least one RU for the communication channel.

Abstract: A circuit for power on data line (PoDL) injection includes a power source, a first and a second coupling component, and an interface. The power source provides one or more DC voltage levels. The first coupling component couples the power source to an interface for coupling to a transmission medium. An Ethernet device is coupled through the second coupling component to the interface. The first coupling component is a balanced component, and the Ethernet device is isolated from the power source via a pair of DC blocking capacitors connected between the first coupling component and the second coupling component.

Abstract: Different data communication architectures receive a wide variety of content, including audio and video content, for consumers. The architectures employ channel bonding to deliver more bandwidth than any single communication channel can carry. In some implementations, the communication architectures receive distributed video programming in the form of MPEG2 TS packets, flagged by marker packets. Channel bonding synchronization information may be present in packets defined above the data-link layer or received in fields within data-link layer frames.

Abstract: A network node module within a vehicle operates to manage devices coupled to a vehicular communication network of the vehicle based on a use mode defining rights and privileges for operating in the vehicular communication network. Upon being configured in accordance with a particular use mode of a set of use modes, the network node module can identify a device coupled to the vehicular communication network and enable the device to operate within the vehicular communication network in accordance with the use mode. The network node module is securely reconfigurable to any use mode in the set of use modes.

Abstract: Systems and methods relate to providing a transmit signal. The transmit signal can be provided in a transmitter circuit including a main pre-equalizer, a main power amplifier in communication with the main pre-equalizer, a replica pre-equalizer, and a replica power amplifier in communication with the replica pre-equalizer. The replica preamplifier is in communication with the main pre-equalizer, and control signals are provided to the main pre-equalizer to reduce distortion. The control signals are provided in response to an output signal of the replica power amplifier.
