    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for textile printing with aqueous dispersions in which an organic fixing agent is crosslinked with a blocked polyisocyanate having (i) an average molecular weight of about 800 to about 25,000, (ii) a content of blocked isocyanate groups, calculated as free NCO and based on non-blocked polyisocyanate, corresponding to an NCO content of about 5 to about 20% by weight, (iii) an ionic group content of about 1 to about 75 milliequivalents per 100 g of blocked polyisocyanate, and (iv) a content of polyalkylene oxide units of about 1 to about 20% by weight, based on blocked polyisocyanate, said blocked polyisocyanate being obtained by the reaction of(a) organic polyisocyanates,(b) isocyanate-reactive compounds containing (potential) ionic groups,(c) polyalkylene ether alcohols,(d) NCO blocking agents, and(e) optionally, isocyanate-reactive compounds that are different from components (b), (c), and (d).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an aqueous two-component coating composition wherein the binder contains(a) a component which is dissolved and/or dispersed in water, has an average hydroxyl number of 15 to 200 mg KOH/g, and contains(a1) a polyol component having a content of 8 to 450 milliequivalents, per 100 g of component (a1) solids, of chemically incorporated ammonium groups, .dbd.N.dbd..sup.+, comprising one or more polyaddition resins which are water-dilutable, contain hydroxyl groups, and have a molecular weight (M.sub.n) of 500 to 20,000 and(a2) up to 10 wt %, based on the weight of component (a1), of one or more reactive diluents which are water-soluble, have a molecular weight (M.sub.n) below 500, and contain at least one isocyanate-reactive group, and(b) a polyisocyanate component having an NCO content of 5 to 25 wt % comprising one or more polyisocyanates which are emulsified in the aqueous solution and/or dispersion of hydroxyl group-containing component (a),wherein components (a) and (b) are present in an amount sufficient to provide an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups of component (b) to isocyanate-reactive groups of component (a) of 0.5:1 to 5:1.The present invention also relates to a process for the production of this coating composition and to their use for the production of coatings on water-resistant substrates.

    Abstract: Diisocyanates corresponding to the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 (an isocyanate-containing radical) are as defined herein are made by several processes. These diisocyanates may be made by phosgenating the diamine in which the diisocyanate is based. They may also be produced by treating the bis-urethane of the tertiary alcohol corresponding to the diisocyanate with phosgene. Such diisocyanates may also be made by treating a specific type of bis-urea with hydrogen chloride. The diisocyanates corresponding to the above-given formula are particularly useful in the production of polyurethanes having good flame-proof and mechanical properties.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a process for the production of plastics based on an isocyanate-polyaddition product by(1) forming an isocyanate group-containing prepolymer from(a) a compound which has a molecular weight of from 146 to about 10,000, is substantially free from hydroxyl groups, contains at least two terminal carboxyl groups and optionally contains ether and/or ester groups,(b) excess quantities of an organic nonaromatic polyisocyanate which has at least one cyclohexane ring and exclusively contains aliphatically- and/or cycloaliphatically-bound isocyanate groups and(c) up to 10 equivalent percent, based on the isocyanate-reactive groups in component (a), of a compound which is monofunctional for the purposes of the isocyanate-addition reaction and,(2) reacting the product of step (1) with(d) a chain-lengthening agent such as water, a polyamine containing at least two primary and/or secondary amino groups or hydrazine or a derivative thereof containing at least two primary and/or secondary amino groups.
