    摘要: A valve having a trim comprising a plurality of a vortex flowpaths, each flowpath comprising a central vortex chamber and having three tangential inlet passages is provided. As the fluid flows through the inlet passages and enters the vortex chamber the flows start to turn and impinge upon one another, i.e., the flow entering via inlet passage will impinge upon the flow entering via inlet, the flow entering inlet will impinge on the flow entering inlet and the flow entering inlet will impinge on the flow entering inlet. As the flow entering vortex chamber impinges on another fluid flow as opposed to a wall of the flowpath the vortex can be used to create a flowpath with reduced erosion. The flow from the inlets combine in a radial flow within the vortex chamber and exit via the outlet which is substantially axial to the vortex chamber.

    摘要: A connector includes a main conduit and a gas conduit. The main conduit includes an inlet portion and an outlet portion that form a passage for supply of a first gas in a forward direction. The inlet portion is adapted to receive a supply of the first gas and deliver the first gas to the outlet portion. The gas conduit has a first end and a second end that form a second passage for supply of a second gas. The first end of the gas conduit is adapted to connect to a second gas supply, and the second end is adjacent the outlet portion of the main conduit and delivers the second gas into the main conduit such that the second gas is directed to flow in a forward direction.

    摘要: The invention provides apparatus having a sensor system for providing sensor information for a monitoring, control or other operating function of the apparatus. The sensor system comprises: a transducer (16) adapted to be responsive to a predetermined environmental characteristic of the apparatus for providing an electrical output, and means (18) adjacent to the transducer to accentuate the said characteristic.     摘要: A multi-cartridge powered dispenser includes a frame having base and top cartridge supports, wheels and a handle. A piston/cylinder is mounted on the frame and at least three cartridges are clamped between the support plates. Each cartridge has a shuttle at the lower end and a discharge opening at the upper end. The piston/cylinder assembly has push rods extending through the base support to move the shuttles in the cartridges. A pressurized fluid supply conduit is connected to the piston/cylinder, and a valve in the fluid supply conduit controls the flow. Discharge cannulae communicate with the outlets the cartridges. Discharge conduits extend between the cannulae and a handpiece for applying the contents of the cartridges to a work surface. The application handpiece can be a sprayer, a roller applicator, or a pour/extrude applicator.
