In order to improve the exhaust gas recirculation, two make-up gas paths through which make-up gas can flow in parallel are formed in a control section of the make-up gas installation, a make-up gas valve being arranged in each make-up gas path, for controlling the cross-section of the respective path through which gas can flow.

摘要: A method for adjusting an exhaust gas recycling rate in an internal combustion engine exhaust gas recycling system, comprising: arranging the exhaust gas recycling system in at least one of a fresh gas line, an exhaust gas line, and an exhaust gas recycling line of the internal combustion engine; actuating at least one additional valve; adjusting the at least one additional valve temporarily by changing the operation of the internal combustion engine based on an exhaust gas rate associated with a current operating point of the internal combustion engine; diagnosing the at least one additional valve; and evaluating the change of at least one engine operating parameter dependent on the exhaust gas recycling rate.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electromagnetic actuator drive (1) for adjusting an actuator drive among at least three positions, comprising a soft magnetic armature (2) which is drive-coupled to the final controlling element and has a plurality of armature faces (5, 6), a plurality of soft magnetic pole elements (7) having a plurality of pole faces (8, 9) on which the armature faces (5, 6) come to rest in two end positions of the armature (2) a restore position (10) which drives the armature (2) by spring force into a horizontal starting position, and a holding device (11) with the help of which the armature (2) can be secured in its end positions by electromagnetic forces.To implement the actuator drive (1) less expensively, an even number of at least four pole elements (7) may be provided, a separate electromagnetic coil (12) being assigned to each pole element (7) and electric power being applied to the holding device (11) for securing the armature (2) in its end positions, the holding device applying electric current to the coils (12) so that the pole faces (8, 9) of adjacent pole elements (7) are oppositely polarized.

摘要: An operating method is for a piston engine (1). The piston engine includes a plurality of cylinders (6) having intake valves (9), exhaust valves (10), combustion chambers (7), and pistons (8). A fresh gas system (2) contains an extra valve (13) assigned to the cylinders (6), a fuel system (5) and an exhaust system (4). The smooth running of the piston engine (1), includes having a fuel/fresh gas ratio in the exhaust gas being measured selectively for each cylinder in the exhaust system (4). The fuel system (5) is operated in such a way that it supplies the same amount of fuel to all combustion chambers (7) in steady-state operation of the piston engine (1). The extra valve (13) is operated in such a way that the quantity of fresh gas supplied to the combustion chambers (7) in steady-state operation is adjusted selectively for each cylinder as a function of the measured fuel/fresh gas ratio.

摘要: A piston engine (10), in particular in a motor vehicle, has a plurality of cylinders (3) whose combustion chambers (4) are connected to a fresh gas system (5). The fresh gas system (5) has two gas paths, namely a full-load path (9) and a partial-load path (10), for at least one of the cylinders (3), through which the fresh gas (6) can be supplied to the respective combustion chamber (4). To this end, a valve arrangement (11) at the intake end is provided for controlling the fresh gas stream through the gas paths (9, 10) into the respective combustion chamber (4). For actuation of the valve arrangement (11), a control unit (13) is provided, the control unit being designed so that it permanently blocks the full-load path (9) through appropriate control of the valve arrangement (11) at partial load and actuates the partial-load path (10) for controlling the fresh gas stream and through appropriate control of the valve arrangement (11) at full load, it actuates at least the full-load path (9) for controlling the fresh gas stream.
