    Abstract: A battery may include a first battery module, a second battery module, and a thermal management component. The first battery module may include a plurality of first battery cells, the second battery module may include a plurality of second battery cells, and the plurality of second battery cells may be located at the peripheries of the first battery cells. The thermal management component may include a first flow channel, a second flow channel, a first inlet through which fluid is input into the first flow channel, and a second inlet through which fluid is input into the second flow channel. The first flow channel and the second flow channel can be formed as two separate flow channels for flowing, so that the first flow channel adjusts temperature of the plurality of first battery cells and the second flow channel adjusts temperature of the plurality of second battery cells.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery. The battery includes: a battery cell comprising a pressure relief mechanism, at least a portion of the pressure relief mechanism protruding outward from a first wall of the battery cell, and the pressure relief mechanism being configured, when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to be actuated to release the internal pressure; a thermal management component for containing a fluid to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; wherein a first surface of thermal management component is attached to the first wall of the battery cell, the first surface of thermal management component is provided with an avoidance chamber, and the avoidance chamber is configured to accommodate the at least portion of the pressure relief mechanism. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery pack, including: a battery box (1), a plurality of battery modules (2), a cooling plate (3), and a buffering member (4). Each battery module (2) includes a plurality of battery cells (21) and a plurality of busbars (22). Each battery cell (21) includes an electrode assembly (211) and a battery housing (212). The battery cells (21) are laid flat. When the electrode assembly (211) is of a wound structure and is flat, and outer surfaces of the electrode assembly (211) include two flat surfaces (2110). The two flat surfaces (2110) are opposite to each other in a vertical direction. Alternatively, when the electrode assembly (211) is of a laminated structure, a first electrode plate (2111), a separator (2113), and a second electrode plate (2112) are stacked in a vertical direction. Therefore, the electrode assembly (211) of the battery cells (21) applies a greatest expansion force in the vertical direction during charge and discharge. The cooling plate (3) is disposed at a side of the battery module (2) in the vertical direction, and the buffering member (4) is disposed between the cooling plate (3) and the battery box (1). Therefore, the greatest expansion force applied by the battery cells (21) on the buffering member (4) enables the buffering member (4) to fit closely with both the cooling plate (3) and the battery box (1) concurrently, thereby increasing a heat dissipation area to improve heat dissipation effects of the cooling plate (3).

The battery includes: a battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being disposed at a first wall of the battery cell; and a thermal management component configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; where a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall of the battery cell, the thermal management component is configured to be capable of being damaged by emissions discharged from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, such that the emissions pass through the thermal management component. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.
