摘要: A fuel feed apparatus includes a lid module that includes a canister accommodated in a fuel tank. The canister defines a space in the vicinity of a lateral periphery of the canister in the fuel tank. The fuel feed apparatus further includes a pump module that is located in the space. The fuel feed apparatus further includes a connecting member that is axially slidable with respect to the lid module and the pump module along the lateral periphery of the canister and a lateral periphery of the pump module. When the lid module is connected to the fuel tank by moving the lid module toward the pump module along the connecting member, the connecting member hooks to the pump module, so that the connecting member is restricted from moving in a direction, in which the lid module moves toward the pump module.

摘要: A fuel feed apparatus is provided to a fuel tank. The fuel feed apparatus includes a lid member, a canister, and a fuel pump. The lid member covers a through hole of the fuel tank. The canister connects with the lid member. The canister is accommodated in the fuel tank for removably absorbing fuel vapor in the fuel tank. The canister has a cross section, which is in a substantially semicircle shape. The canister has an outer peripheral wall that partially defines a remaining space on the lateral side of the canister. The fuel pump is received in the remaining space on the lateral side of the canister in the fuel tank for pumping fuel in the fuel tank.

摘要: An apparatus is for inhibiting fuels from flowing out of fuel tanks, and includes a housing having an evaporator opening and a fuel opening, a double-floating valve and a cover having a cylinder-shaped liquid receptacle. Alternatively, the apparatus can include a housing having an evaporator opening, a fuel opening and a substantially cylinder-shaped dam, a double-floating valve, and a cover free from the cylinder-shaped liquid receptacle. The apparatus can securely inhibit liquid fuels from flowing into a canister even when liquid fuels spout through the valve hole and the evaporator opening, because liquid fuels collide with the liquid receptacle or the dam to return back into fuel tanks through the evaporator opening.

The vibration damping control apparatus is provided with: a gain correction value controlling device configured to change a gain correction value associated with the vibration damping torque, for each crank angle immediately before compression torque is generated in the engine, or for each crank angle at which the compression torque is zero.

摘要: A vibration damping control apparatus is mounted on a hybrid vehicle provided with an engine and a motor generator coupled with the engine. The vibration damping control apparatus (i) calculates pulsating torque of the engine and inertia torque of the engine, (ii) sets, as consumption torque, a value obtained by subtracting the inertia torque from the pulsating torque, (iii) sets, as shaft torque of an output shaft of the engine, a value obtained by subtracting the consumption torque from base torque of the motor generator, (iv) calculates vibration damping torque which is torque for suppressing a variation in the shaft, and (v) controls the motor generator such that torque outputted from the motor generator is a sum of the base torque and the vibration damping torque.

摘要: When cranking is started, a control unit of an ECU determines an advance amount by which an intake valve closing timing is advanced from a fully retarded position toward a bottom dead center, and transmits the determined advance amount to a variable valve timing mechanism. After cranking is started, the control unit determines that there is an abnormality in the variable valve timing mechanism, when the advance amount is larger than 0, and when an actual intake valve closing timing, determined using an intake cam angle from a cam angle sensor and a crank angle from a crank angle sensor, is not advanced from the fully retarded position. When it is determined that there is an abnormality in the variable valve timing mechanism, the control unit outputs a control signal to an inverter to increase an output torque of a motor, which is a driving source for cranking.
