    摘要: A vehicle function control system includes a sensing and projecting module disposed at an exterior portion of the vehicle and having an illumination source operable to project a plurality of icons onto a ground area at or near the vehicle or an exterior surface of the vehicle, with each of the projected icons being representative of a respective vehicle function. The module includes a sensing device operable to sense the presence of a user at or near one of the projected icons and, responsive to the sensing of the presence of the user, the system determines which of the projected icons is being selected by the user. A control is responsive to an output of the sensing device and, responsive to determination of the user at or near a selected particular projected icon, the control controls a function of the vehicle associated with the selected particular projected icon.

    摘要: An interior rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror casing, a mirror reflective element disposed at the mirror casing, and an indicator disposed at the mirror reflective element. The mirror reflective element and mirror casing are adjustably mounted at an interior portion of a vehicle via a mounting structure. The indicator includes a plurality of light emitting diodes, with each light emitting diode of the plurality of light emitting diodes being individually operated to emit light of a particular color. Responsive to one of a plurality of triggers, the indicator electrically powers a particular one or particular ones of the light emitting diodes for that trigger. The indicator electrically powers the particular one or ones of the light emitting diodes to emit light of one or more colors to convey colored information associated with that trigger to a driver of the vehicle.

    摘要: A rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror head pivotally mounted at a mounting base configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle. The mirror head includes a mirror casing and a reflective element adjustably disposed at the mirror casing. A powerfold actuator is operable to pivot the mirror head relative to the mounting base between at least a park detent position and a drive detent position. The mirror head is manually pivotable to a non-detent position other than the park detent position and the drive detent position. Responsive to the mirror head being at a non-detent position and responsive to a single actuation of a user input, the powerfold actuator is operable to pivot the mirror head to either the park detent position or the drive detent position.

    摘要: A vehicular camera assembly includes a mounting base configured to mount at a vehicle, an arm pivotally mounted at the mounting base, a camera disposed at an outer end region of the arm, and an actuator that is operable to pivot the arm between a drive position and a folded position. The actuator includes a primary detent interface that is engaged to maintain the arm at the drive position when the arm is pivoted to the drive position. When the arm is manually pivoted between the folded position and the drive position, a secondary detent interface is disengaged and the primary detent interface is disengaged. With the vehicular camera assembly mounted at the vehicle, video image data captured by the camera is processed for (i) display of video images derived from video image data captured by the camera or (ii) detection of an object viewed by the camera.

    摘要: A method for assembling a mirror reflective element sub-assembly for a vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes assembling an indicator module by heat staking a printed circuit board at a receiving part of a housing to form a housing and printed circuit board assembly and dispensing potting material at the printed circuit board to seal the printed circuit board at the housing and aligning and taping a diffuser at the housing. A back plate is provided that has an indicator attaching portion for attaching the indicator module. The back plate is placed at a support fixture and a mirror reflective element is attached at the back plate. The indicator module is attached at the indicator attaching portion of the back plate. Light emitted by the indicator module, when electrically powered to emit light, passes through the mirror reflective element at an aperture of the back plate.
