Abstract:
Described is moisture-reactive hot-melt adhesive compounds, including at least one polyurethane polymer P which is solid at room temperature and which has isocyanate groups, at least one polyaldimine ALD of the formula (Ia) or (Ib), and at least one acid K in the form of an organic monocarbon acid, or dicarbon acid, or an organic monosulphonic acid, or disulphonic acid, or a compound which can be hydrolyzed to give one of these acids. These hot-melt adhesive compounds cure without bubbles and exhibit exceptionally quick crosslinking speed and good strength after crosslinking.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to curing agents for epoxy resins including an alkylated polyethyleneimine. These curing agents have high functionality and a high content of secondary amino groups. Together with epoxy resins, they cure surprisingly quickly and without blushing effects even under humid and cold conditions to form films having very high cross-linking density. They are suited for coatings with high resistance requirements.
Abstract:
A curing agent for epoxy resins, including at least one amine A1 of the formula (I) and at least one amine A2 which is a polyalkyleneamine or polyethyleneimine, where the weight ratio between amine A1 and amine A2 is in the range from 20/1 to 1/2. The curing agent of the invention enables inexpensive and low-emission epoxy resin products having good processability, long pot life, surprisingly rapid curing, especially also under cold conditions, high strength, high bond strengths, high glass transition temperature and a low tendency to yellowing, with formation of surprisingly nice surfaces having barely any blushing-related defects even in the case of two-dimensional application and under moist and cold conditions. Such epoxy resin products are advantageously usable as coating, especially for floors, or as adhesive.
Abstract:
A composition including a first component containing at least one polyol and at least one compound having at least one reactive group of the formula (I), and a second component containing at least one aromatic polyisocyanate and/or at least one polymer containing aromatic isocyanate groups. The composition has a long open time and, even in the case of small amounts of compound having at least one reactive group of the formula (I), enables elastic coatings having improved mechanical properties without causing problems with odor emissions or migration effects. It is thus particularly suitable as a coating for floors or roof areas.
Abstract:
A curing agent for epoxy resins has N-benzylethane-1,2-diamine and N,N′-dibenzylethane-1,2-diamine in a weight ratio in the range from 65/35 to 95/5. The curing agent is easy to prepare, thins epoxy resins particularly well, and enables low-emission epoxy resin products that have good workability and a long pot-life, cure reliably and surprisingly fast and can be walked on after a short time, in particular even in cold conditions. Coatings of particularly high mechanical grade, with a high surface quality and a minimal tendency to yellowing, can thus be produced. Epoxy resins of this type are particularly suitable for coating floors.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an amidine of the formula (I) and its use as a catalyst for crosslinking a curable composition. The amidine of the formula (I) contains at least one aliphatic amidine group. It is substantially odorless and nonvolatile at room temperature and accelerates the crosslinking of curable compositions very efficiently, without impairing the storage stability of the compositions. It is particularly suitable for compositions based on polymers containing silane groups, with which it is compatible, as a result of which such compositions do not have a tendency to separation or migration or evaporation of the catalyst.
Abstract:
An aldiminosilane of the formula (I), to the use thereof as adhesion promoters and/or crosslinking agents, and to curable compositions including same. The aldiminosilane of the formula (I) is odorless, pH-neutral, liquid at room temperature, and has a low sensitivity to heat. The hydrolysis of the aldiminosilane proceeds relatively slowly, and the aldiminosilane is highly effective as an adhesion promoter. Furthermore, the aldiminosilane exhibits excellent compatibility with curable compositions based on isocyanates, epoxides, or silanes, whereby such compositions do not exhibit a propensity for migration effects such as bleeding or substrate soiling after being cured. In particular, isocyanate group-containing compositions containing the aldiminosilane of the formula (I) are highly storage-stable regardless of the storage temperature and the isocyanate used.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of an epoxy resin composition, containing at least one reaction product from the reaction of at least one amine of formula (I) with at least one carbonyl compound of formula (II) and hydrogen, as a cold curing primer or adhesive. Primers or adhesives of this type cure rapidly and trouble-free at ambient temperature, even at cold temperatures such as 10 or 5° C., suffer remarkably little yellowing and are free from toxic phenol compounds such as phenol, tert-butylphenol or nonylphenol. The primer has a particularly low viscosity and is particularly suitable for priming porous mineral substrates.
Abstract:
An amine of the formula (I) and a process for its preparation by reductive alkylation of 1,2-propylenediamine with a di- or trifunctional carbonyl compound and hydrogen. The amine of the formula (I) is low in viscosity and in odour, high in reactivity towards epoxides and outstanding in its compatibility with other amines and with epoxy resins. The amine of the formula (I) allows access to low-emission epoxy resin compositions which have good processing qualities, cure rapidly even at low temperatures and form high-quality, high-hardness plastics having an attractive surface.

The invention further relates to the use of the zinc(II) complex compound of the formula Znk(L)x(Y)2k-nx as a catalyst for the cross-linking of polymers containing silane groups by means of moisture.
