Abstract: An electronic device and network scan method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a communication module connected to an antenna capable of transmitting signals to and receiving signals from a network, a memory configured to store a database including a plurality of items of network identification information and country information corresponding to each item of network identification information, and a processor configured to control the communication module to perform a first network scan with respect to a specified frequency band of a specified radio access technology (RAT), determine country information using network identification information obtained by the first network scan and the database, and perform a second network scan with respect to a RAT and a frequency band determined based at least an the determined country information.

Abstract: The robotic cleaner includes a cleaner body that is movable and a suction unit that is movable relative to the cleaner body in a vertical direction. The suction unit includes an inlet for sucking impurities from the surface to be cleaned, and at least one support unit for spacing the inlet and the surface to be cleaned. With the configuration, the foreign substance suction efficiency from the surface to be cleaned may be improved, and a constant gap between the suction portion and the surface to be cleaned may be maintained.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes one or more antennas that resonate within a licensed band and an unlicensed band, a first communication circuit electrically connected with at least part of the one or more antennas and processing an LTE signal, a second communication circuit electrically connected with at least part of the one or more antennas and processing a Wi-Fi signal, and a processor electrically connected with the first communication circuit and the second communication circuit. The processor is configured to obtain first data indicating a state of a first channel corresponding to a first communication protocol, obtain second data indicating a state of a second channel corresponding to a second communication protocol, select at least one communication protocol based on the first data and the second data, and perform communication through a communication circuit, which corresponds to the selected at least one communication protocol.

The method further includes receiving a second set of the reference signals being transmit-beamformed using transmit beams of the one of the transmit beam groups in the at least one transmitting node with receive-beamforming using receive beams of one of the receive beam groups.

Abstract: A robot cleaner includes a plurality of motors each of which transmits a driving force, a pad assembly which is connected to one of the plurality of motors to receive a rotational force from the motor, to rotate in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, and thus to clean a floor surface, and a wire which is connected to the pad assembly and another one of the plurality of motors so that the pad assembly is tilted by the driving force of the motor, wherein the robot cleaner moves in a particular direction by a non-uniform frictional force between a bottom surface of the pad assembly and the floor surface. The robot cleaner uses wires to tilt the pad assembly and, thus, it is possible to miniaturize the robot cleaner.
