    Abstract: An electronic device and a wearable device for providing information on the exercise capacity of a user, and an operation method of the electronic device performing same. The electronic device may include: a communication module for receiving, from the wearable device, sensor data including movement information of a user wearing the wearable device; a processor(s) for estimating the exercise capacity of the user on the basis of the sensor data and generating exercise capacity information about the estimated exercise capacity; and a display module for outputting the exercise capacity information. The sensor data includes exercise information about movements performed by the user in accordance with one or more exercise programs presented to the user when the wearable device is in an exercise capacity evaluation mode. The processor(s) may determine the exercise capacity information on the basis of the exercise information and evaluation criteria information corresponding to the one or more exercise programs.
