    摘要: A bicycle multiple sprocket assembly comprises smaller and larger sprockets for shiftable engagement with a chain. The larger sprocket includes at least one reluctantly disengageable tooth, at least one chain supporting tooth immediately following the reluctantly disengageable tooth with respect to the forward rotational direction of the sprocket assembly, and at least one easily disengageable tooth immediately following the chain supporting teeth. The apex of the chain supporting tooth is wider than those of the other larger sprocket teeth for supporting thereon the chain at the time of shifting from the larger to smaller sprockets.

    摘要: A bicycle multiple chainwheel is provided which is mounted on a pedal crank for transmitting a rider's pedalling force to a rear gear through a chain. The chainwheel has the following configuration to prevent a chain from being locked to a diametrically larger sprocket or from prematurely disengaging from the larger sprocket before completely shifting to a diametrically smaller sprocket.The larger sprocket has circumferentially asymmetric teeth located in at least one of diametrically opposite angular regions which contain a diametrical line of the larger sprocket extending along crank arms of the pedal crank, each of the asymmetric teeth being offset relative to a corresponding pitch center in the forward rotational direction of the chainwheel in comparison with the other normal teeth of the larger sprocket.

    摘要: The present invention provides a bicycle multiple chainwheel to be mounted on a pedalling crank assembly. The chainwheel, which is held in driving engagement with a chain, comprises a larger sprocket and at least one smaller sprocket coaxial with the larger sprocket. When shifting the chain from the larger sprocket to the smaller sprocket, the chain normally starts disengaging from the larger sprocket at one of specific circumferential positions thereof. In view of this, the larger sprocket is made to have local chain guide portions only at those positions necessary for preventing the thus disengaged chain from being trapped in an axial gap between the larger and smaller sprockets.

    摘要: The present invention can provide an Mg-containing ZnO mixed single crystal wherein the mixed single crystal comprises an Mg-containing ZnO semiconductor having a bandgap (Eg) of 3.30≦Eg≦3.54 eV, and has a film thickness of 5 μm or less. The present invention can provide a method for producing an Mg-containing ZnO mixed single crystal by liquid phase epitaxial growth, wherein the method comprises: mixing and melting ZnO and MgO as solutes and PbO and Bi2O3 (or PbF2 and PbO) as solvents; and putting a substrate into direct contact with the obtained melt solution, thereby growing the Mg-containing ZnO mixed single crystal on the substrate.

    摘要: A biaxially oriented polyester film wherein the microscopic Raman crystallization index Ic measured in the film thickness direction is in a range of 8 cm−1 to 15 cm−1 and the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of Ic is 1 cm−1 or less. Another biaxially oriented polyester film wherein the relative power (I10TD) of spatial frequency (1/mm) measured along the transverse direction of at least one surface of the polyester film having been heat treated at 100° C. for 24 hours is in a range of −25 to 0 dB. These biaxially oriented polyester films are films good in microplanarity even after high-temperature storage or heat loading during processing. These biaxially oriented polyester films are useful as polyester films for use in a magnetic recording material, an electronic material, a stencil film, a sublimatic ribbon and a package material. In particular, these biaxially oriented polyester films are useful when employed as a base film for a high-density magnetic recording medium, especially, a double layer metal coated digital recording medium according to linear recording system.

    摘要: A calendering apparatus in which a nip portion is formed by a chilled roll, a backing roll and an endless elastic belt arranged over the backing roll, wherein a paper sheet to be treated passes between the chilled roll and the endless elastic belt. Thus, a paper sheet having a remarkably improved smoothness and gloss can be obtained by the calendering apparatus of the present invention using an endless elastic belt having a relatively long length, without the disadvantage of a heat build-up occurring in a usual calendering treatment. A contacting angle between the belt and the backing roll is 30.degree. or less.
