The optical recording medium according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate, a reflective layer located on the upper side of the substrate and reflecting an incident laser beam, and an information recording layer located on the reflective layer. The information recording layer includes a first recording layer containing Au and a second recording layer containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of Si, Ge, C, Sn and Zn. Therefore, the optical recording medium of the present invention may provide high recording density and transmittance velocity suitable for BD system by combining the recording layer materials.

A method of driving a multi-state organic memory device which includes an organic memory layer between upper and lower electrodes. The method comprises continuously applying voltages having different polarities to conduct switching into a low resistance state, and applying a single pulse to conduct switching into a high resistance state. A multi-state memory is realized using one memory device, since it is possible to gain three or more resistance states, thus significantly improving integration. The method has excellent reproducibility, and the resistance state induced by multiple pulses has an excellent nonvolatile characteristic.

A method of manufacturing a nonvolatile organic memory device including a memory layer interposed between an upper electrode layer and a lower electrode layer, which includes dispersing ions of conductive nanoparticles in an organic material disposed between the two electrode layers and then reducing the ions of conductive nanoparticles into conductive nanoparticles in the organic material to form a desired memory layer. In addition, a nonvolatile organic memory device manufactured by the method of the current invention is also provided. The method allows the memory device to be manufactured using a rapid, simple, and environmentally friendly process, without the need for an encapsulation process. As well, the memory device has a low operating voltage, and hence, is suitable for application to various portable electronic devices that must have low power consumption.

The present invention provides an apparatus for optical disc spin-coating that prevents leakage of a photocurable resin due to a capillary phenomenon by controlling a contact area between a cap and a disc so that contamination of the disc and manufacturing errors do not occur. Furthermore, the apparatus of the present invention can manufacture an optical disc having a central portion which is not contaminated by a photocurable resin and in which bubbles are not generated. In addition, the apparatus may further include a vacuum hole formed in the turntable, which can be opened and closed independently from the opening and closing of a vacuum hole formed in the central axis of the turntable, to prevent the lifting of the optical disc when the cap is removed. As a result, operability and the manufacturing efficiency of the apparatus can be increased significantly.

The present invention relates to a method for fabricating a hollow microneedle having a variable appearance. The method makes it possible to vary the length of the microneedle, the outer and inner diameters of the upper and lower parts thereof, the aspect ratio, the sharpness, and the structural bending rate thereof, in accordance with the purposes of the same. Accordingly, the appearance of the hollow microneedles according to the present invention can be varied with flexibility according to various purposes, such as the transferring of medication and the taking of a blood sample, and to various factors, such as the target part for the medication transfer, the depth of the medication transfer, and the amount and viscosity of the medication. Thus, the microneedle can be used as a multi-purpose device for transferring medication.
