    摘要: A changing system in a manual transmission is provided. An interlock plate is mounted on a shift-selecting shaft capable of being moved axially in response to a selecting operation and turned about an axis in response to a shifting operation, so that the interlock plate cannot be turned about an axis of the shift-selecting shaft. The interlock plate has a pair of side plate portions which are provided at locations spaced apart from each other in an axial direction of the shift-selecting shaft and through which the shift-selecting shaft extends. A shifting arm disposed between the side plate portions is fixed to the shift-selecting shaft. In such changing system, the shifting arm and an interlock member operatively connected to the shifting arm are interposed between the side plate portions of the interlock plate. Thus, the shifting arm can be used commonly in manual transmissions, in despite of a difference in number of forward speed stages between the manual transmissions, thereby providing a reduction in cost and avoiding an increase in weight due to a variation in number of forward speed stages.

    摘要: A pallet with a workpiece mounted thereon is delivered on a pallet carriage, and transferred onto the table of a machine tool which has a different height from the pallet carriage. Lifting mechanisms on the pallet carriage are engaged by respective positioning members in front of the machine tool. The lifting mechanisms are actuated to lift the pallet carriage to position the pallet carriage for transfer of the pallet onto the machine tool table. The pallet is transferred from the pallet carriage onto the machine tool table, half of a predetermined stroke by a first transfer mechanism on the pallet carriage and the remaining half of the stroke by a second transfer mechanism on the machine tool table. The table has vertically movable support rollers for supporting the pallet when it is transferred onto and from the table. When the pallet P is positioned on the table, the vertically movable support rollers are retracted downwardly. When the pallet is transferred onto the machine tool table, clamp units on the machine tool table enter T-shaped slots defined in the lower surface of the pallet, and are actuated to clamp the pallet directly on the table. Since the workpiece on the pallet thus clamped is held in a low position on the machine tool table, the workpiece can be machined by a machining tool that can move freely in a wide space.

    摘要: A process for preparing polymer non-aqueous dispersions to be formulated together with a binder component in coating compositions, which comprises the steps of: (1) emulsion polymerizing a hydroxy group containing .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a polyfunctional .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated monomer and an .alpha.,.beta.-ethylenically unsaturated monomer different therefrom by using a water-soluble polymerization initiator, preferably a persulphate, in a soap free system or in the presence of an ester group containing anionic or cationic surfactant; adding an organic solvent, preferably comprising an amphipathic organic solvent, to a resultant polymer aqueous dispersion; and then adding a basic compound catalyst when anionic surfactant is used or an acidic compound catalyst when the cationic surfactant is used, to thereby hydrolyze completely said surfactant and water-soluble polymerization initiator at a temperature not exceeding 95.degree. C. as in the condition of suspension; (2) adding an acidic or basic compound to said suspension to neutralize said basic or acidic compound catalyst: then after adding dispersion stabilizing resin, further adding an amine salt of organic acid, followed by leaving said suspension to stand to separate into organic and water layers; and isolating the organic layer from the water layer; and (3) removing residual water in the organic layer. The resultant polymer non-aqueous dispersion comprises polymer particles having a total ionic group concentration (I) less than 2.times.10.sup.-5 mol/g particle, a hexane tolerance (HT) from 5 to 40 exclusive and a degree of swelling in acetone (S) less than 10, and used with a binder component comprising a polyol resin and a curing agent for preparing coating compositions.
