摘要: This invention concerns the production of a multilayer fiber product. According to the method, on top of a bottom layer consisting of at least one fiber layer, a second fiber layer is fitted containing filler that forms the surface layer. According to the invention, the layers are formed by multilayer web forming technology, and the surface layer filler includes cellulose or lignocellulose fibrils, on which light-scattering material particles are deposited, having a maximum proportion of the total filler weight of 85%. By means of the invention, a base paper is achieved that is suited to thin, coated paper grades, where conventionally the intrusion of the coating color into the bottom paper and through it is a problem.

摘要: The present invention relates to a coated fibrous web and a method for producing it. According to the present invention, a coated fibrous web comprises a filler-containing base web that has a pigment-containing coating layer on at least one surface. The filler of the base web consists at least partially of cellulose or lignocellulose fibrils, on the surface of which light scattering material particles have been deposited. The filler comprises cellulose or lignocellulose fibrils having an average thickness less than 5 nullm produced from plant fibres by refining and screening. Considerable advantages are achieved with the present invention. With the help of the composite filler, the formation of the fibrous web can be improved significantly without impairing the retention, which makes is possible to achieve an extremely smooth substrate for the coating. The smoothness of the surface can also be improved. Furthermore, the fines-based carrier fraction of the filler compresses the surface of the base paper so that the coating does not penetrate too much into the fibre network. Due to these reasons even a small amount of coating produces good coverage and quality improving cost-efficiency.

摘要: Cellulose nanofibers (CNF) act as a dispersing agent to directly exfoliate graphite in an aqueous solution using sonication. The resulting suspension has graphite flakes, each having 2-20 monolayers, a relatively large lateral dimension, and a plurality of CNF decorating its surfaces and edges. The dispersing effect of the CNF allows the graphite-CNF suspension to be stored without degradation until desired use. The graphite-CNF suspension can be used to form various composite structures, such as by spraying, coating, pouring, extruding, or printing the suspension, and then drying the suspension. The resulting composite structures have improved tensile strength and toughness due to hydrogen bond interactions between the CNF and graphite.

摘要: An inorganic substance composition comprising at least 50% by weight of a finely divided inorganic substance and 2 to 50% by weight of a fiber forming organic polymeric material and having a specific surface area of more than 2 m.sup.2 /g is described. The composition is prepared by preparing a liquid suspension from the inorganic substance, the organic polymeric material and a solvent; heating the liquid suspension to at least 100.degree. C to dissolve the organic polymeric material in the solvent; and then extruding the heated liquid suspension at a pressure equal to or higher than the vapor pressure of the solvent through an orifice into a zone of a lower pressure to evaporate the solvent.

摘要: A process is disclosed whereby porous flakes usable for making paper-like sheets are produced by melting a 10 to 75 parts by weight of thermoplastic polymer, dispersing 25 to 90 parts by weight of finely divided inorganic particles in a solvent capable of dissolving the polymer in an amount of 80 to 95% based on a total weight of the polymer, the inorganic particles and the solvent, at room temperature or lower to prepare a slurry. At a temperature at which the polymer can be dissolved in the solvent, the polymer melt is mixed with the slurry which has been preliminarily heated to a temperature pertinent for realizing the above-mentioned dissolving temperature when the heated slurry is mixed with the polymer melt, to prepare a uniform dispersion of the inorganic particles in the polymer solution in the solvent and then, the dispersion is spurted from a closed tank through an orifice, into a zone having a temperature and pressure lower than that of the dispersion, whereby the spurted dispersion is converted to composite porous flakes by rapidly evaporating the solvent.
