摘要: A method for a turbocharged engine, comprising: during high load conditions, in response to an elevated engine temperature, after port injecting a first quantity of a first gaseous fuel, direct injecting a second quantity of a second, liquid fuel at a first timing that is a function of a desired air-fuel ratio. In this way, engine power may be maximized while simultaneously decreasing the maximum combustion temperature and mitigating engine knock.

摘要: An LPG bombe cooling system of a bi-fuel vehicle using both gasoline and LPG is provided. The LPG bombe cooling system is configured to cool the interior of an LPG bombe and to reduce the vapor pressure of LPG by supplying some gasoline from a gasoline tank into the LPG bombe using the fact that the temperature of gasoline in the gasoline tank is lower than the temperature of LPG in the LPG bombe, whereby it is possible to easily refill the LPG bombe with LPG even in the case in which the external temperature is very high, e.g. in the hot season.

摘要: A fuel supply system for a reciprocating-piston engine includes a storage tank; a wall of the storage tank defining a first aperture and a second aperture therethrough; a first fuel injector fluidly coupled with the first aperture of the storage tank via a pressure control module and a first fuel injector supply conduit; a pump fluidly coupled with the second aperture of the storage tank; and a second fuel injector fluidly coupled with an outlet port of the pump via a second fuel injector supply conduit. The pressure control module is configured to maintain a pressure in the first fuel injector supply conduit within a pressure range that includes a pressure value that is less than a pressure inside the storage tank. The pump is configured to maintain a pressure inside the second fuel injector supply conduit that is greater than the pressure inside the first fuel injector supply conduit.

摘要: The invented system adds some petrol fuel to the vehicle engine which runs with natural gas (CNG or LPG). It causes a simultaneous combustion of petrol and natural gas (CNG or LPG). This action decreases depreciation of engine, increases power of the engine and reduces fuel consumption in natural gas vehicles. The above-mentioned system consists of an innovative petrol holder storage, an electronically circuit, a relay, a lever micro switch and a petrol fuel injector. Whenever the accelerator pedal is pressed more than a certain amount, the system will be activated and command to inject petrol collected in the storage into the air manifold.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method of introducing fuel into a diesel engine for combustion within the engine. A natural gas in liquid form is injected into the engine for combustion therein with diesel fuel so as to maintain a natural gas concentration derived from the liquid in the range of greater than 0.6% to 3.0% of air intake by volume of natural gas. Suitable gases include natural gas, methane or substantially methane gas mixtures and substitute natural gas such as propane air mixtures providing a mixture with similar combustion properties to methane/natural gas.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a system for controlling fuel supply of a dual-fuel vehicle. The method includes: detecting an operation status of a pressure sensor by an electronic control unit, when an engine is at a gas state; receiving a pressure signal of the pressure sensor by the electronic control unit, when the pressure sensor works properly, the pressure signal indicating internal pressure of a gas tank; and controlling the engine to switch to fuel state by the electronic control unit, when the duration time of the internal pressure of the gas tank less than or equal to a predetermined pressure is greater than or equal to a predetermined time. The method can accurately control switching states according to the remainder of the gas in the gas tank, therefore avoid the engine frequent gas-fuel.

In one example, a system comprises an engine having at least one cylinder controlled via an intake valve, a first fuel system to deliver liquid fuel and a second fuel system to deliver gaseous fuel to the at least one cylinder, a variable valve timing actuation system to adjust one or more of an opening or a closing timing of the intake valve, and a controller. The controller is configured to, during a liquid fuel only mode, adjust the variable valve timing actuation system to close the intake valve at a first timing based at least on engine load, and during a multi-fuel mode, adjust the variable valve timing actuation system to close the intake valve at a second timing.

摘要: An apparatus and method for igniting a gaseous fuel directly introduced into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine comprises steps of heating a space near a fuel injector nozzle; introducing a pilot amount of the gaseous fuel in the combustion chamber during a first stage injection event; controlling residency of the pilot amount in the space such that a temperature of the pilot amount increases to an auto-ignition temperature of the gaseous fuel whereby ignition occurs; introducing a main amount of the gaseous fuel during a second stage injection event after the first stage injection event; and using heat from combustion of the pilot amount to ignite the main amount.

摘要: A fuel supply control system and control method are disclosed. In a fuel supply control system of a high-pressure gas injection engine provided in a ship or an offshore structure, the fuel supply control system of the present invention includes: a gas supply mode for supplying gas to the high-pressure gas injection engine through a gas supplying part for receiving LNG from a storage tank so as to compress and vaporize the LNG; and an oil supply mode for supplying oil as fuel to the high-pressure gas injection engine, wherein the mode is switched into the oil supply mode during an emergency including a device malfunction in the gas supply mode such that the oil supply mode can be configured as a redundancy of the gas supply mode.
