摘要: A tubular double-needle bed warp knitting machine includes a let-off mechanism, a knitting element, and a take-up and batching device. The knitting element includes guide needles in a circular pattern, two circular needle beds arranged internally and externally, knitting needles in a circular pattern along the internal and external needle beds, and knitting components that move in coordination with the knitting needles. Some of the guide needles form loops on the internal and external circular needle beds, while other guide needles alternately form loops on the internal and external circular needle beds to connect sections of the two fabric pieces to create a three-dimensional tubular fabric. The formed three-dimensional tubular fabric exits the knitting area through the traction of the take-up and batching device. The tubular double-needle warp knitting machine simplifies production processes of tubular double-needle warp knitted fabrics and leverages the advantages of tubular fabrics to optimize product performance.

摘要: A method for forming an anti-counterfeiting feature during knitting of a fabric and a fabric thereof, the fabric is knitted with at least one first yarn, a part of the fabric includes a plurality of featured yarn loops formed by a second yarn, the featured yarn loops constitute an anti-counterfeiting feature, the anti-counterfeiting feature can be directly observed from one side surface of the fabric, the second yarn is formed by twisting at least two sub-yarns with different shades, and shades of the at least two sub-yarns and the first yarn are different from each other, and a shade of the featured yarn loops displayed on the side surface is random. Accordingly, the randomness of yarn twisting makes the anti-counterfeiting feature difficult to be replicated, thereby preventing unscrupulous manufacturers from counterfeiting the fabric.

摘要: A substrate is mountable on a lacrosse stick head to form a pocket. The head has a throat attached to a shaft, a ball stop attached to the throat, a scoop distal to the throat, and sidewalls extending between the ball stop and the scoop. The substrate includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is positioned proximate to the scoop and the bottom portion is positioned between the top and the ball stop. The top and bottom portions include yarn knit to form the substrate. A method of making the substrate includes casting the yarn onto a needle, knitting the top and bottom portions, casting the yarn off the needle, tying off the yarn and attaching the substrate to the head.

摘要: A knitted textile having a first layer including a first yarn with a thermoplastic composition integrally formed with a second layer including a second yarn, the first yarn forming an array of knitted patterns defining voids through the first layer to the second layer. The first layer may be heat treated to form a film. Treatment of the first layer may change zonal and directional tensile properties of the knitted textile. The Poisson's ratio of the knitted textile may be greater than or equal to zero in a first axis and/or a second axis, before and/or after treatment. Articles of apparel, including articles of footwear and garments incorporating the knitted textile, and methods of forming the knitted textiles and articles are disclosed.

摘要: belts and methods of manufacturing the same are described herein. The belt generally includes a base layer having a plurality of surface features (e.g., ribs or teeth) formed on a front surface of the base layer, and a stretched surface layer disposed on and conforming to the surface features. The stretched surface layer may comprise a knit fabric material that is from about 3 to about 10 wt. % elastomeric fiber or yarn and from about 90 to about 97 wt. % non-elastomeric yarn or fiber. The stretched surface layer is stretched over the front surface of the base layer such that the surface density of the stretched surface layer on the front surface is from about 100 to about 150 g/m2. Manufacturing methods for producing the belt with stretched surface layer generally includes disposing the surface layer on a planar front surface of the base layer and pressing a mold into the front surface of the base layer to thereby form a plurality of surface features in the front surface of the base layer. The molding step is carried out such that surface density of the surface layer on the front surface is in the range of from about 100 to about 150 g/m2 and such that the surface layer is stretched in at least two directions.
