Abstract:
A preassembled drive unit for an adjustable functional element in a motor vehicle has a drive motor (1) and a braking device (2). A drive connection (3) is provided for producing the driving force or driving torque of the drive motor (1) and a brake connection (4) is provided for producing the braking force or braking torque of the braking means (2).
Abstract:
Disclosed are door assemblies particularly well suited for opening and closing wide entries such as emergency room entries. The assemblies have multiple doors that can be overlapped at a side of the entry. If further access room is needed the doors can then be pivoted so that essentially the entire entry is open. There is an automatic latching system that activates as the doors are being pivoted to prevent some sliding motion during the pivoting.
Abstract:
A system for raising and lowering a sectional overhead door between an open position and a closed position including, a counterbalance system adapted to be connected to the door, an operator motor assembly mounted proximate to the sectional overhead door in the closed position of the sectional overhead door, at least a portion of the operator motor assembly movable between a door operating position and a door locking position, and a locking assembly (370) having an engaged position to hold the motor assembly in the operating position and a disengaged position to release the motor assembly allowing it to move to the door locking position. The system may be provided with a remote light assembly having a switchable light source in sensing communication with the operator motor such that operation of the motor activates the light source. The system is further provided with a handle assembly (515) operatively engaging the motor assembly (40) and counterbalance system (30) to selectively disconnect the motor assembly (40) from the counterbalance system (30), whereby urging of a rotatable handle (516) to a disconnect position (516′) allows the door (D) to be manually freely moveable with the aid of the counterbalance system (30).
Abstract:
A door control system and method for a vehicle door includes a power assist mechanism. The system starts a power assistance for opening of the vehicle door from a fully closed position when the vehicle door is moved by an operation of a door handle under a condition that a door lock being disengaged in association with the operation of the door handle. The power assistance force is supplied to the vehicle door by actuating the power assist mechanism when the vehicle door is judged to be not moving even after a preset time period lapsed from a counting of a time started from the operation of the door handle.
Abstract:
A mobile communication terminal includes a first body, a second body foldably coupled to the first body, and an opening mechanism that rotates the second body with respect to the first body in response to a sliding movement of the second body.
Abstract:
A foot bolt (10) of a sideways movable sliding door or a similar element (1-3), comprising a part locking the element in the base, such as a pin fitting in the hole in the base and which foot bolt construction further comprising a counterpart (9) in the next element movable beside it, in which counterpart the part (13) in the edge of the preceding element can be fitted so that the adjacent elements get sideways interlocked and that on moving the elements in the opposite direction pushing the last brought element from beside the preceding element opens the locking of the preceding element from the base. The pin fitting in the hole in the base is intended to be manually pressed for instance by the foot in the hole.
Abstract:
A power drive assembly (110) for controlling movement of a closure panel (102, 105) of a vehicle includes a closure panel (102, 105) that moves relative to the vehicle between open and closed positions, and a latch (108, 115) for cinching the closure panel (102, 105) to the vehicle. The drive assembly (110) includes an actuator (134), a first torque output (136) coupled to effect movement of the closure panel (102, 105), a second torque output (138) coupled to the latch (115), and a clutch assembly (114, 150) coupled between the actuator (134) and the torque outputs (136, 138) for selectively transferring torque between the actuator (134) and the torque outputs (136, 138).

Abstract:
Opening and closing system for motor vehicle sliding door, which can be displaced along guide rails between an open position and a closed position, with a brake device for braking the sliding door. The brake device is designed in such that it is activated automatically during displacement of the sliding door when a collision state is indicated or signaled or exists during opening and/or when a jamming state is indicated or signaled or exists during closing (pre-crash situation). The opening and closing system can thus react without any time delay to a jamming or collision state and can rapidly brake the displacement of the relatively heavy sliding door. At the same time or with a time offset, a drive motor for the motorized movement of the sliding door can be braked and/or reversed. The opening and closing system can be used both for manually operated and automatic sliding doors.
