    Abstract: A battery pack includes a battery module and a pack case. The battery module includes a plurality of cylindrical batteries each including, at one end in a specified direction, a battery exhaust valve that opens in response to an increase in internal pressure; and a battery holder including a plurality of housing parts for the one ends of the cylindrical batteries in the specified direction to be inserted. The pack case houses the battery module and internally includes an exhaust passage for gas exhausted from at least one of the plurality of cylindrical batteries to be exhausted out of the pack case. Each of the plurality of housing parts includes a lid part facing the battery exhaust valve of a corresponding cylindrical battery. The lid part includes an opening cover part that creates a larger holder opening with a greater outside diameter than the battery exhaust valve, and the opening cover part includes a ring-shaped or incomplete ring-shaped outer periphery that is defined by a weak part with less strength than a part external to the opening cover part.

    Abstract: An audio processing system includes at least one first microphone, at least one adaptive filter, and a processor. The at least one first microphone acquires a first audio signal and outputs a first signal based on the first audio signal. The first audio signal includes at least one of a first audio component generated at a first position and a second audio component generated at a second position different from the first position. The first signal is input to the at least one adaptive filter. The at least one adaptive filter outputs a passing signal based on the first signal. The processor, when executing a program stored in a memory, performs: making a determination of which of the first audio component and the second audio component the first audio signal includes more; and controlling a filter coefficient of the adaptive filter based on a result of the determination.

    Abstract: An optical device includes: a light source part configured to project illumination light toward a sensing region; a photodetector configured to receive reflected light of the illumination light reflected on the sensing region; and a condenser mirror. The condenser mirror has a through hole through which the illumination light from the light source part passes and an optical axis of the light source part and an optical axis of the condenser mirror are aligned with each other. A reflection surface of the condenser mirror has a shape obtained by cutting out a columnar body extending in a projection direction of the illumination light, with a spheroid whose rotation axis is a major axis. The photodetector is disposed in a direction toward a first focal position of the condenser mirror. The sensing region is set in a direction toward a second focal position of the condenser mirror.

    Abstract: Ultrasonic flowmeter includes fluid flow path through which a measurement target fluid flows and a pair of ultrasonic transducers that can transmit and receive an ultrasonic signal. The ultrasonic flowmeter further includes flow rate calculator that calculates a flow velocity or flow rate of a measurement target fluid. In addition, fluid flow path includes a main flow path including a plurality of divided flow paths obtained by dividing a flow path having a rectangular cross-section by the same width, and a sub flow path including an added flow path having the same width as that of the divided flow path and having a height lower than that of the divided flow path. Furthermore, flow rate calculator calculates the flow rate of the measurement target fluid flowing through the fluid flow path from the flow velocity or flow rate of the measurement target fluid obtained based on the propagation time.
