Abstract:
A sexual stimulation device includes an elongated dildo housing sized to be received within an orifice of a human body, the housing defining an internal cavity extending along a longitudinal axis of the housing, a mass laterally constrained within the cavity and movable linearly along the cavity, and an electrically driven actuator disposed within the housing and operably coupled to the mass. The actuator is operable to accelerate the mass along the cavity and to thereby induce a longitudinal reactive acceleration of the housing.
Abstract:
A driving device includes a wearable mechanism that is worn on a wearing part, an actuator that drives the wearable mechanism, and first and second force sensors that are provided on the wearable mechanism and detect a force. The first and second force sensors are provided at positions at which a first detected value obtained from the first force sensor and a second detected value obtained from the second force sensor are changed in response to a motion of the wearing part. When a difference between the first and second detected values is less than a pre-decided first threshold value and the first or second detected value is greater than a pre-decided second threshold value, the actuator drives the wearable mechanism so that the second detected value is constant.
Abstract:
An apparatus for generation of a pressure pulse for treatment of soft tissue including one or more chambers having an open end operative to be sealed by skin when applied thereto rendering the chamber air tight, a vacuum pump communicating with the chamber and operative to generate at least partial vacuum inside the chamber and a plunger operative to move axially relative to the chamber towards and away from the skin and engage the skin without breaking the air tightness of the chamber and wherein the plunger is operative to engage skin against vacuum forces during a first phase and disengage the skin during a second phase.
Abstract:
An object of the disclosed invention is to provide a wearable power assist system that is light weight and capable of assisting in various situations. The invention is used to select a joint to be assisted according to a desired action and transmitting a force generated by an actuator to assist the joint and to an assist the outer skeleton.
Abstract:
A plunger adapter and a detachable compression pad for piston driven chest compression devices optimizes the application of chest compressions to a fixed location on a patient's chest. The detachable compression pad may be removably secured to the patient above the patient's sternum to ensure that the compression pressure from the piston through the piston adapter is applied to a fixed location on the patient's chest. As the plunger and plunger adapter retract from the chest, the compression pad remains fixed to the patient's chest, and as the plunger and plunger adapter extend from the chest compression unit for subsequent compression strokes, the distal end of the plunger adapter reengages the compression pad to apply compression to a fixed location on the patient's chest.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an interactive simulation device which can cooperate with media devices to provide a user experience of interaction between the user and a target object. An interactive simulation device of the present disclosure may exchange data with another interactive simulation device for enabling simulated interaction of senses such as tactile sense and feedback between their users across different locations. The interactive simulation device may receive motion data from other interactive simulation devices as an input of its actuator and sense the user's feedback to the motion data and send back to the interactive simulation devices. The present disclosure also provides a method and a system performing the method for simulating interaction or providing simulated interaction as a service by applying the interactive simulation device. The present disclosure further provides the application of sexual interaction and sexual stimulation of the interactive stimulation devices.
Abstract:
A method for controlling movement using an active powered device including an actuator, joint position sensor, muscle stress sensor, and control system. The device provides primarily muscle support although it is capable of additionally providing joint support (hence the name “active muscle assistance device”). The device is designed for operation in several modes to provide either assistance or resistance to a muscle for the purpose of enhancing mobility, preventing injury, or building muscle strength. The device is designed to operate autonomously or coupled with other like device(s) to provide simultaneous assistance or resistance to multiple muscles.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a new and improved wearable (or fastenable, or adhearable) vibration massage system directly localized, focused and engaged upon or overlying a selected target artery of a user. The vibration massage waves are advantageously derived from a “mentally stimulating”, or “cognitively meaningful” soundtrack, of preferably music, whereby a user can simultaneously listen to the soundtrack in real time, thereby providing a synchronized, harmonized tactile and auditory experience. The provided system is essentially MUSical vibration applied upon a target ARTtery—hence is hereinafter described as the “MUSART” therapy system. Various modes of application of the tactile vibratory stimulus, as well as modes for invasive delivery of acoustic stimulation directly in contact with a target artery, are presented.
Abstract:
A device is disclosed for generating controlled pneumatic pressure to a human body to achieve mucus clearance from the pulmonary system. Controlled pneumatic pressure consisting of individual vibratory pressure and constrictive pressure variations are generated and applied to the thorax to promote mucus clearance. The vibratory pressure variation is channeled to a pressure receiver secured to the upper thorax of the body, and the constrictive pressure variation is channeled to a pressure receiver secured to the lower thorax of the body. The vibratory pressure variation serves to loosen the mucus, while the constrictive pressure variation provides the motive force that promotes mucus expulsion from the pulmonary system.
