    摘要: A socket and a plug are provided. Both the socket and the plug include a body, a blocking sheet, and an elastic member. Both the bodies define a coupling portion. The blocking sheet is disposed on the corresponding body and covers the corresponding coupling portion to protect the coupling portions from being contaminated when not used. The elastic member connects the corresponding body and the blocking sheet. When the plug is plugged into the socket, the blocking sheets, against an elastic force of the elastic member, pushes each other to expose the coupling portions until the coupling portions are coupled.

    摘要: An optical fiber connector includes a number of optical fibers, a body, a number of supports and a cover. The body includes a number of lens portions at a first end thereof, a number of through holes at an opposite second end, and a recess located between the lens portions and the through holes. The through holes are in communication with the recess. The optical fibers extend through the respective through holes and terminate at the respective lens portions. The supports are formed in the recess. Each support supports and retains a portion of the corresponding optical fiber exposed in the recess. The cover is received in the recess. The cover has a number of slanted faces spatially corresponding to the respective supports. The slanted faces and the supports cooperatively securely sandwich the exposed portions of the optical fibers in the body.

    摘要: An optical fiber connector assembly includes a female connector, a male connector, and a thin film filter. The female connector includes a first main body and a first lens portion. The first main body and the first lens portion are made of a same polymer material having a lower melting point and higher fluidity than polyether-imide. The male connector is used for insertion into the female connector and includes a second main body and a second lens portion for optically coupling with the first lens portion. The second main body and the second lens portion are made of a same polymer material having a lower melting point and higher fluidity than polyether-imide. The thin film filter is formed on each of the first and second lens portions. A related optical fiber connector is also disclosed.

The first converging lenses align with and directly face the respective second converging lenses.

The method includes providing a biological sample containing at least one nucleic acid, and mixing the biological sample with an isolating agent under a suitable condition to isolate the nucleic acids from the biological sample in single step, wherein the isolating agent contains 1-40 wt % of PEG and/or more than 30 wt % of low molecular weight alcohol, a salt, and a detergent. Isolated nucleic acids are bound to a solid support by changes in the solubility of nucleic acids. Additionally, the present invention further provides an isolating agent and kit for isolating nucleic acids.

    摘要: The present invention provides a wireless receiving device jointly used by computer peripherals and a method thereof. The wireless receiving device comprises a wireless receiving circuit, a micro-processing circuit, and an interface circuit. The micro-processing circuit can receive wireless signals emitted by wireless emitting devices of different computer peripherals via the wireless receiving circuit, and has a learning procedure. The learning procedure can be activated to let the micro-processing circuit memorize and lock on a specific wireless emitting device. The signal processed by the micro-processing circuit is then transferred to a computer via the interface circuit.

The blind holes opens towards a first side of the connector body. The receiving room opens towards an opposing second side of the connector body The lens block includes a body portion and a number of protruding portions extending from a first side of the body portion. The lens block is received in the receiving room. The protruding portions are positioned between the body portion and the blind holes. The protruding portions are aligned with the respective blind holes. The body portion has a flat second side face free of protruding portions thereon, at an opposite side thereof to the protruding portions.
