Abstract: An embodiment of the present application is provided with a battery box, a battery, a power consumption device, and a method for producing a battery and an apparatus for producing a battery. The box of the battery includes: an electrical chamber, configured to accommodate a battery cell group; a collection chamber, configured to collect emissions of the battery cell provided with the pressure relief mechanism when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated; an isolation component for isolating the electrical chamber and the collection chamber, such that the electrical chamber and the collection chamber are arranged on both sides of the isolation component; wherein a surface of the isolation component that is close to the battery cell group is provided with an avoidance opening, the avoidance opening extends along the first direction, and the plurality of pressure relief mechanisms of the battery cell group face the avoidance opening.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery, a power consumption device, a method and a device for producing the battery. The battery includes: a battery cell, including a pressure relief mechanism, wherein the pressure relief mechanism is disposed on a first wall of the battery cell; a thermal management component, wherein a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall, and the thermal management component is provided with a pressure relief hole opposite to the pressure relief mechanism; and a baffle configured to cover a part of the pressure relief hole, so that when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, a discharge direction of the emissions entering the pressure relief hole is changed. The battery, the power consumption device, the method and the device for producing the battery provided in the embodiments of the present application can enhance safety of batteries.

The case includes: an electrical chamber configured to accommodate a plurality of battery cells and a bus component, where at least one battery cell of the plurality of battery cells includes a pressure relief mechanism; a thermal management component configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust temperatures of the plurality of battery cells; and a collection chamber configured to collect, when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, emissions from the battery cell provided with the pressure relief mechanism; where the thermal management component is configured to isolate the electrical chamber from the collection chamber. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

Abstract: The application provides a method, apparatus, device and medium for detecting an internal short-circuit fault of a battery cell. The method includes obtaining electrical signal values for each of m battery cells of a battery pack, when it is in a preset condition including that a current detection is an nth detection; performing following steps for a target battery cell: calculating a first parameter of the target battery cell using the electrical signal values of the target battery cell, which characterizes a degree of fluctuation of the electrical signal values; calculating a second parameter that characterizes a degree of dispersion between the first parameter of the target battery cell and first parameters of other battery cells; and determining that an internal short-circuit fault occurs in the target battery cell, under a condition that the second parameter is greater than a threshold.

Abstract: A thermal runaway trigger method relates to the technical field of batteries. The thermal runaway trigger method includes: providing a battery cell and a heating member arranged in the battery cell; and heating the inside of the battery cell by the heating member, so as to cause a thermal runaway of the battery cell. The heating member is arranged inside the battery cell, and the heating member heats the inside of the battery cell to cause the thermal runaway of the battery cell, so that the inside of the battery cell can be heated to cause the thermal runaway of the battery cell in a relatively short time. Due to the reduced internal space of the battery cell, the range of diffusion of the heating member inside the battery cell is small, and the heat loss of the heating member is relatively small.
