Abstract: A control module is arranged side by side with a battery module. The control module includes positive and negative electrode bus bars which are electrically connected to positive and negative electrode input/output terminals of the battery module, respectively. The bus bars are mounted in a mounting part. The mounting part has first and second control-side ventilation holes through which air flows onto first and second battery stacks, respectively, in the battery module. The mounting part has notches in which at least one of the positive electrode bus bar and the positive input/output terminals and at lease one of the negative electrode bus bar and the negative input/output terminals are formed. The first and second control-side ventilation holes are arranged side by side in the lateral direction. The notches, the positive electrode bus bar, and the negative electrode bus bar are located between the first and second control-side ventilation holes.

Abstract: A control module is arranged side by side with a battery module. The control module include a bus bar by which the battery module and an electric load are electrically connected to each other, and a switch by which an electrical connection between the bus bar and the electric load is switched on and off. The control module further includes a current sensor by which a current of the bus bar is detected; a control unit into which an electric signal of the current sensor is inputted, and by which connection switching of the switch is controlled; and a connection terminal by which the current sensor and the control unit are electrically connected to each other. A connection portion between the connection terminal and the current sensor is more closely disposed at a side of the control unit than a connection portion between the bus bar and the switch.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a plurality of batteries, a housing, a circulation path, and a blower. The circulation path includes a bottom wall side path formed between lower faces of the batteries and a bottom wall which is the bottom side of the housing. The bottom wall is provided with a plurality of beams arranged in parallel for reinforcing the housing, and the batteries are arranged on the beams. The bottom wall side path is formed as a space surrounded by the lower faces of the batteries, the bottom wall, and the beam. The width of the bottom wall side path formed between adjacent beams is set to be larger than the width of one beam.

Abstract: A battery pack has a plurality of unit cells, a casing for accommodating the plurality of unit cells, and a base which is a part of the casing and has a heat dissipation wall and a first side wall disposed so as to be capable of transferring heat to the heat dissipation wall. The battery pack includes a stay disposed on the first side wall in the base and fixed to a vehicle-side member, and a switching device disposed so that released heat can be transferred to the heat dissipation wall or the first side wall. The switching device includes a first switching device and a third switching device having a smaller heating value than the first switching device has. The first switching device is disposed at a position closer to the stay than the third switching device is in planar view.

Abstract: A battery pack includes batteries, a fan unit, a case housing the batteries and the fan unit, an air circulation passage formed in the case, an air introduction passage that makes communication between a suction part of the fan unit and outside of the case, and an air discharge passage that makes communication between the outside and an inside of the case. The air circulating passage includes a blow-off side passage that makes communication between a blowoff part of the fan unit and battery passages through which the circulating air flows to exchange heat with the batteries, and a suction side passage that makes communication between the battery passages and the suction part of the fan unit. Abstract: In a battery pack, unit cells, an internal cooling fan and a drive motor are arranged in an inside space of a housing. The drive motor drives the internal cooling fan to supply cooling air. The cooling air circulates in the inside space of the housing to cool the unit cells. Radiation fins are formed on at least one specific exterior surface of the housing. The specific exterior surface has a superior radiation capability which is higher than that of each of the other exterior surfaces of the housing. The cooling air is supplied in turn surfaces of the unit cells and interior surface of the housing corresponding to the exterior surface on which the radiation fins are formed.
