Abstract:
A sight adjustment tool includes a surrounding frame and a sight adjustment module. The surrounding frame including two side members and a top member to define an adjustment cavity. The sight adjustment module includes a base platform movably supported within the adjustment cavity in an elevated direction for adjustably supporting a bottom of a pistol slide, two side clampers movably extended from the side members respectively to the adjustment cavity for biasing against two sides of the pistol slide respectively, and a sight adjuster including an adjusting jaw movably supported by a sight adjusting arm and suspendedly supported within the adjustment cavity for engaging with the sight element, wherein when the sight adjusting arm is rotated, the adjusting jaw is driven to slide along the sight adjusting arm for selectively adjusting the position of a sight element with respect to the pistol slide.
Abstract:
A handle sight for a firearm includes a mounting base and a carrying handle. The mounting base has an elongated shape and defining a first end portion and an opposed second end portion, wherein the mounting base is adapted for detachably mounting on the firearm in a reversible orientation to locate the first end portion of the mounting base one of a forward direction and a rearward direction of the firearm. The carrying handle is upwardly extended from the first end portion of the mounting base at a top side thereof, wherein the carrying handle has a hollow structure to define a sight channel for parallelly align with a barrel axis of the firearm so as to enable an operator to aim at a front iron sight of the firearm through the sight channel.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to elastic, hydrophilic and substantially spherical microspheres useful for dermal augmentation and tissue bulking. The invention provides injectable compositions comprising the microspheres and a biocompatible carrier for use in dermal augmentation. The present invention further provides methods of dermal augmentation and tissue bulking, particularly for the treatment of skin contour deficiencies, Gastro-esophageal reflux disease, urinary incontinence, and urinary reflux disease, using the injectable compositions.
Abstract:
A method of deploying a stent-graft in a curved vessel includes deploying an expandable tip to center a proximal end of the catheter containing a stent-graft in the curved vessel. A sheath is retracted to expose the stent-graft and the stent-graft self-expands into the curved vessel. By centering the catheter containing the stent-graft prior to deployment with the expandable tip, the accuracy of stent graft placement within the curved vessel is improved.

Abstract:
A two-phase liquid cooling system includes an active venting system for regulating an amount of non-condensable gas within the cooling system. Various venting structures may be used to remove gases from the cooling system, some of which are designed to remove the non-condensable gases and avoid removing the vapor-phase coolant. A control system activates the venting system to achieve a desired pressure, which may be based on measured process conditions within the cooling system.
Abstract:
The invention encompasses the treatment of urinary incontinence, gastroesophageal reflux disease and the amelioration of skin wrinkles using biocompatible hydrophilic cationic microparticles and a cell adhesion promoter.
Abstract:
The present invention is an intralumenal stent device made up of two or more elements. Each element has undulations forming peaks and valleys and is formed from a repeating series including a long segment, a first midsized segment, a short segment, and a second midsized segment. These elements are aligned on a common axis and are connected directly to an adjacent element by a connection. The stent incorporates the advantages of having both long and short segments into a single element.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of forming a drug eluting stent, the method comprising coupling a stent framework to a mandrel, inserting the mandrel with stent framework into an open die, the die including a forming surface including a plurality of raised indention forming portions; closing the die against the stent framework; pressing the raised indention portions into the stent framework to form indentions in the stent framework; and inserting at least one drug polymer into the indentions formed in the stent framework.
