    摘要: Provided are an optical resin and an optical member using the same, both orientation birefringence and photoelasticity birefringence of the optical material being deadened and generally eliminated. The optical material consists of a composite constituent system of three or more constituents including a copolymerization system of monomer-element number not smaller than two, combination and constituent ratio of the composite constituent system being set so that both orientation birefringence and photoelasticity birefringence of the optical material are deadened at the same time and 5.0×10−5 or less is given under a condition that principal chains of the copolymerization system have degree of orientation equal to 0.03, and further a photoelasticity constant not greater than 1.0×10−12 (Pa−1) is obtained. The composite constituent system may contain an additive containing a low molecular weight compound which has an anisotropic polarizability and can be orientated in a polymer. The composite constituent system may consist of a copolymerization system of monomer-element number not smaller than three. Optical members produced by applying molding to the optical hardly show birefringence if external force is applied.

    摘要: An inverter circuit overcurrent protection device in which an overcurrent detection resistor (Rs) is incorporated in a hybrid integrated circuit, in which a detection voltage from the overcurrent detection resistor (Rs) is divided by voltage dividing resistors (R1 and R2) and is compared with a reference voltage in an overcurrent detection circuit, for carrying out an overcurrent protection, and an external resistor is connected in series or in parallel with one of the voltage dividing resistors (R1 and R2) to change a division ratio so that the level of overcurrent protection can be adjusted; and an embodiment wherein, in the vicinity of a current detection terminal, a first pad (P1) is connected to a detection voltage from the overcurrent detection resistance, a second pad (P2) is connected to a detection voltage from the amplifier, and a third pad (P3) is connected to the voltage dividing resistors, and a bonding wire (10) is connected between the current detection terminal one of said pads, to select one of a plurality of overcurrent protection devices.

    摘要: The birefringence that results from the orientation of high molecular weight resins is cancelled out and still they are provided with heat resistance. To attain this object, the invention provides an optical resin material comprising a transparent high molecular weight resin and a fine inorganic substance which, as the linked chains in the high molecular weight resin are oriented under an external force, is oriented in the same direction as the linked chains and which has birefringence, the birefringence of said inorganic substance cancelling out the birefringence in orientation of the oriented high molecular weight resin. The invention also provides a process for producing the optical resin material, as well as optical components, an adhesive, substrates for a liquid-crystal device, and polarizing plates for the device.

    摘要: A light scattering and guiding light source device which is capable of providing a uniform illumination light, simple structure and low cost. A wedge-shaped light scattering guide has an incident surface for introducing light rays from a fluorescent lamp. The directions of the rays are changed by scattering. The rays propagate through the body while reflected repeatedly. Parts of the rays go outwards at plural reflective points. The angle of reflection increases successively, thus increasing the possibility that the light exits from the exit surface. This effect cancels another effect that portions close to the light source shines strongly. Both effects are balanced to make uniform the brightness over the exit surface. Reflective sheets are disposed along the inclined surface and around the fluorescent lamp to keep the brightness high. A prismatic exit direction modifier giving on the light exit surface is employed to modify the light exit direction characteristic. The light source device is mounted on a liquid crystal display as a backlight source to provide an improved display quality.
