Abstract: Disclosed herein are improved nanozymes for targeting RNA. The disclosed nanozymes are synthesized using recombinant RNase A with site-specific cysteine-substituted mutations that can be covalently functionalized with a length-tunable multi-thiol tether and then loaded onto gold particles through multiple gold-sulfur bonds. This new RNase A loading mechanism is site specific, and it allows high-density loading of alkylthiol modified DNA oligonucleotides. The disclosed nanozymes can also include additional capturer strands and/or involve DNA-recombinant-RNase-A unibodies to further increase the nanozyme's enzymatic activity and target selectivity. Also disclosed are functional on-off switchable nanozymes to control nanozyme activity. In some embodiments, the disclosed nanozyme are core-free hollow forms. The removal of the inorganic nanoparticle cores from nanozymes can effectively eliminate the potential long-term toxicity induced by the core, and also creates a cavity for loading and delivery of small molecule drugs.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes system and methods for determination of building code performance. One such method comprises transforming a building code regulation into a computable record that defines a building design and/or engineering rule for the building code regulation; performing design model validation, wherein design model validation comprises entering building permit application file information and checking the building permit application file information against relevant codes and regulations, using a taxonomy or neural natural language processing techniques or artificial Intelligence; performing exchange model code checking; performing code conformance checking, wherein the code conformance checking comprises receiving a request from the exchange models and passing the building permit application file information to code checking modules; performing verification reporting based on input provided from the code checking modules; and performing results reporting based on findings of the verification reporting.

Abstract: The present disclosure presents systems and methods for generating digital or electronic building construction forms using Building Information Modeling (BIM) data. One such method comprises providing an add-in application on a computing device; retrieving, by the add-in application of the computing device, a building construction form template; extracting, by the add-in application of the computing device, building design data from a Building Information Model (BIM) file of a building construction project, wherein the BIM file is generated from an external application to the add-in application; calculating, by the add-in application of the computing device, one or more of the building design metrics using the extracted building design data; and/or inputting, by the add-in application of the computing device, the extracted building design data and the calculated metrics in the specified fields of the building construction form template and generating a populated version of the building construction form.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a hydrogel comprising hyaluronic acid polymers that are at least partially crosslinked with fibrinogen molecules. Also disclosed is a composition comprising a glycidyl methacrylate hyaluronic acid monomer chemically conjugated to a fibrinogen molecule. Also disclosed is a method for producing a hydrogel that involves combining the disclosed composition containing GMHA-Fib precursors with an effective amount of a photoinitiator and light (e.g. UV light) to crosslink unconjugated methacrylate sites through free-radical polymerization. Also disclosed is a method for treating a subject with a peripheral nerve injury that involves implanting the disclosed hydrogel at the site of the injury to promote neural regeneration.
