    摘要: A tunnel type incinerator with cylindrical inner and outer barrels which are rotated in opposite directions relative to each other. A large number of crushing blades or protrusions are disposed and engaged with each other in a spiral shape on the wall of the barrels, a hopper is disposed on a side of a hold member which is joined with the inner and outer barrels and a bucket is disposed on a lower opposite side of the hold member. Charged waste from the hopper is crushed on the crushing blades and moved to the front end portion of the barrel by a screw ribbon and burned up by the indirect heating of a combustion tube with burners, and a non combustioned gas tube is mounted over the hold member, such that the non combustioned gas produced in the inner and outer barrels is recycled to burn up the non combustioned gas. The combustion tube is mounted on inside walls of the inner and outer barrels in a zigzagged shape, thus the disintegrated and burnt waste are moved to a discharge opening and a discharge piece through an opening of the front end portion of the inner barrel, and moved to a re-charge inlet by a screw blender of a bucket installed on the hold member.

    摘要: The invention has as subject matter a rotary tube, especially for a rotary tube kiln for the production of carbon, with several mixing elements arranged in the inner space of the rotary tube for a thorough mixing of a charged material. The rotary tube comprises a transitional area from a smaller inside cross section to a larger inside cross section of the rotary tube. The mixing elements are formed in the transitional area and/or are arranged in such a manner that the charged material is transported during operation by the mixing elements toward the smaller inside cross section. The result is an excellent thorough axial mixing and blending of the charged material, which results in an increased homogeneity of the activated carbon produced.

    摘要: A direct heat rotary calciner and method for providing improved thermal treatment of particulate material comprises a rotary tube having a plurality of screened apertures along the length thereof. Material to be treated is passed through the rotating tube and contacted during passage with a cross-flow of heated gases entering and leaving through the screened apertures. At least a portion of the internal wall of the tube may be provided with spiral flights to aid in the conveyance of the particulate material through the rotating tube.
