摘要： The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. The method includes, formatting input streams into Data Pipe (DP) data, Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) encoding the DP data according to a code rate, bit interleaving the LDPC encoded DP data, mapping the hit interleaved DP data onto constellations, building at least one signal frame including the mapped DP data, and modulating data in the built signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) method and transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data, wherein the input streams include Audio/Video (A/V) data and service guide data, and wherein the Audio/Video (A/V) data and service guide data are included in first ISO base media file format (ISOBMFF) files.

摘要： A bit interleaver, a bit-interleaved coded modulation (BICM) device and a bit interleaving method are disclosed herein. The bit interleaver includes a first memory, a processor, and a second memory. The first memory stores a low-density parity check (LDPC) codeword having a length of 64800 and a code rate of 3/15. The processor generates an interleaved codeword by interleaving the LDPC codeword on a bit group basis. The size of the bit group corresponds to a parallel factor of the LDPC codeword. The second memory provides the interleaved codeword to a modulator for 64-symbol mapping.

A broadcast signal transmitter according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises an input formatting module configured to perform baseband formatting and to output at least one PLP (Physical Layer Pipe) data; a BICM (Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation) module configured to perform an error correction process on the PLP data; a framing and interleaving module configured to interleave the PLP data and to generate a signal frame; and a waveform generating module configured to generate a broadcast signal by inserting a preamble into the signal frame and performing OFDM modulation.

摘要： A method for performing code block segmentation for wireless transmission using concatenated forward error correction encoding includes receiving a transport block of data for transmission having a transport block size, along with one or more parameters that define a target code rate. A number N of inner code blocks needed to transmit the transport block is determined. A number M—outer code blocks may be calculated based on the number of inner code blocks and on encoding parameters for the outer code blocks. The transport block may then be segmented and encoded according to the calculated encoding parameters.

摘要： A method is provided for processing broadcast data in a broadcast transmitter. Broadcast service data is randomized. The randomized broadcast service data is first-encoded to add parity data to the randomized broadcast service data. The first-encoded broadcast service data is second-encoded. The second-encoded broadcast service data is first interleaved. The first-interleaved broadcast service data is second-interleaved. Signaling data is encoded for signaling the broadcast service data. The encoded signaling data is third-interleaved. The third-interleaved signaling data is fourth interleaved. A frame is transmitted that is divided into a data region including the second-interleaved broadcast service data, a first signaling region including the fourth-interleaved signaling data and a second signaling region that includes at least one symbol that is used for synchronization and channel estimation. The frame includes known data. The encoded signaling data includes information for identifying the code rate and information related to the known data.
