摘要: An inside of a housing of a power conversion device is partitioned by partitioning walls, and the power conversion device is configured from: an open part, into which external air flows; a first airtight part that is adjacent to the open part and into which no external air flows; and a second airtight part that is adjacent to the first airtight part and into which external air does not flow. At least two ventilation holes are formed in a partition wall between the first airtight part and the second airtight part. A circulation fan is provided to at least one of the at least two ventilation holes. The outer surface of the first airtight part is provided with a heatsink that dissipates heat transferred from an electronic component placed in the first airtight part, the heatsink being exposed to the open part.

摘要: A choke coil module of a high power density DC-AC power inverter includes a retainer. The retainer includes a lower plate and an upper plate. The upper and lower plates are spaced from each other and have two slots, respectively. An accommodation space of the retainer is provided with two choke coils which are disposed obliquely in a stagger manner. Top portions and bottom portions of the choke coils protrude out of and lean against the slots of the upper plate and the lower plate, respectively. The outside air is guided by a fan unit to enter a casing through air inlets, and the heat generated by the choke coils is expelled to the outside through air outlets. The choke coil module can be mounted in a smaller casing, such as a casing with a height of 2 U, to achieve excellent heat dissipation.

摘要: A variable frequency drive (VFD) cabinet ventilation system, apparatus and method is described. A VFD cabinet includes an internal air circulating closed circuit that extends through an inside of an air-to-air heat exchanger and an external air open circuit extending around an outside of the heat exchanger. The circulating internal air closed circuit extends through a chamber closed to ingress of external air, the chamber including electrical components of a VFD system. The external air open circuit makes a turn from downwards to upwards before flowing through a VFD chassis including a drive of the VFD system. A VFD cabinet ventilation method includes turning a flow of cabinet ventilation air from downwards to upwards to separate dirt from the ventilation air, passing the separated ventilation air through a VFD chassis, and circulating internal cabinet air through a closed circuit including an inside of a heat exchanger.
