Abstract:
RRO corrector function is formulated to partition the contribution of micro-actuator control from the other voice coil assembly contributions. Single stage actuation is supported by zeroing the micro-actuator control queue, otherwise multi-stage actuation is supported. The multi-stage actuation may include dual stage actuation and in some embodiments triple stage actuation. Triple stage further partitions RRO corrector function for the contribution of the second micro-actuator. Method of initializing an assembled hard disk drive creates hard disk drive as product, using the written-in parameter list for track on the disk surface to recreate the RRO corrector as RRO corrector filter using queues updated by NRRO corrector.
Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device includes memory modules which have memories and a data bus which transfers data to the memory modules, in which the data bus comprises a low frequency band data pass unit which removes the high frequency component of the data and sends the data to the memory modules. The low frequency band data pass unit comprises a plurality of stubs which are connected to the data bus in parallel and are formed as printed circuit board (PCB) patterns. The low frequency band data pass unit comprises a plurality of plates that are connected to the data bus in parallel and are formed as PCB patterns. The low frequency band data pass unit has a shape in which parts having a wide width and parts having a narrow width are alternately connected. Therefore, without adding a separate passive device, the semiconductor memory device reduces the high frequency noise of data transferred through a data bus such that the voltage margin of the data improves, the cost for passive devices such as capacitors, is reduced, and the process for attaching the passive devices is simplified.

Abstract:
An additive composition for a slurry contains a first salt of polymeric acid including a first polymeric acid having a first weight average molecular weight and a first base material, and a second salt of polymeric acid including a second polymeric acid having a second weight average molecular weight and a second base material. A slurry composition is prepared by mixing the additive composition, a polishing particle composition, and water. When implementing a chemical mechanical polishing using the slurry composition, a favorable polishing selectivity is realized.
Abstract:
A driving element and a wiring section electrically connected to the driving element are formed on a base substrate. A first ground pattern outputting a reference voltage of the driving element is formed on the base substrate. The base substrate includes a second ground pattern which is spaced apart from the first ground pattern. An external connection section is included on the base substrate, the external connection section being connected to the first and second ground patterns. A connecting cable contacts the external connection section to permit the first and second ground patterns to be connected to external circuitry.
Abstract:
In the data transmission method, a MAC layer receives data from an upper layer, classifies the data according to destination addresses and traffic identifiers, aggregates the data by destination address and traffic identifier as a first transmission unit, aggregates the first transmission units having the identical destination address as a second transmission unit, and transmits the second transmission units having different destination addresses in a single frame. The data transmission method allows packets transferred from the upper layer to be hierarchically aggregated by DAs and TIDs and then packaged into a data unit for each destination such that it is possible to transmit the data at an optimal data rate for each destination terminal.
Abstract:
Methods of polishing an object layer and for manufacturing a non-volatile memory device that incorporates such a polished object layer using a specially formulated slurry composition are disclosed. The slurry compositions include a ceria abrasive, a nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value in a range of about 12 to about 17, and water. The nonionic surfactant is selected such that it may be adsorbed onto a hydrophobic layer to protect the hydrophobic layer from the ceria abrasive during a polishing operation. The slurry compositions may have a relatively high polishing rate for a hydrophilic layer and at the same time a relatively low polishing rate for a hydrophobic layer. Thus, the slurry compositions may be applied during a process for polishing the hydrophilic layer using the hydrophobic layer as a polishing stop layer.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a compensator film having multilayer structure including both negative optical retardation in thickness direction and optical retardation in in-plane direction at the same time to improve wide view angle, in which a polymer base layer provides optical retardation in in-plane direction, organic or organic/inorganic hybrid protective layer formed on the base layer contributes to the improvement of mechanical properties such as curl prevention and polymer orientation of coating layer, and the out-most layer, a polymer coating layer, endows optical retardation in thickness direction. The multilayer, in which each layer is individually functioning, enables the preparation of a compensator film having proper optical retardation.
Abstract:
Provided is a side airbag installed at a roof rail over a driver seat and a rear seat, which includes: a driver seat side airbag having a plurality of division chambers divided by chamber walls projecting therebetween, the chamber walls being curved in a direction opposite to a flow direction of a gas injected from an inflator, and a rear seat side airbag having a plurality of division chambers divided by chamber walls projecting therebetween, the chamber walls of the rear seat side airbag being curved in a direction opposite to the chamber walls of the driver seat side airbag. Therefore, it is possible to protect a driver and a passenger on the rear seat, when the side airbag is deployed, by aligning an inlet of the driver seat side airbag disposed at the driver seat to a flow direction of the gas to rapidly deploy the side airbag. In addition, it is possible to safely protect the head of a driver or a passenger by first deploying a portion of the side airbag at which the driver or the passenger is positioned.
