    Abstract: A server system may include a plurality of internal hubs communicatively coupled to a plurality of server nodes. The plurality of internal hubs may communicate with an external hub to transmit broadcast traffic to reach a designated server node. A hub controller, a routing device coupled to the plurality of internal hubs, may select an internal hub from among a plurality of internal hubs based on a link status and a set of hub selection rules. Based on a status of active link and a relative priority of internal hubs, an internal hub is selected as a transmission channel to receive broadcast traffic from the external hub and direct the broadcast traffic to a corresponding server node.

    Abstract: An overhanging touch control system and a method thereof are provided. The overhanging touch control system includes a touch surface, a first overhanging transceiver circuit, a second overhanging transceiver circuit, and a controller, wherein the first and second overhanging transceiver circuits are disposed at different edge positions on the touch surface, and their detection ranges overlap. The first overhanging transceiver circuit detects a first initial image upon initialization and a first real-time image after initialization. The second overhanging transceiver circuit detects a second initial image upon initialization and a second real-time image after initialization. The controller determines whether a reflective object is present at the detection range of the first overhanging transceiver circuit based on the first real-time image, and determines whether the reflective object is present at the detection range of the second overhanging transceiver circuit based on the second real-time image.

    Abstract: A management controller can dynamically manage a status light of a storage device in a server rack system. For example, an administrative device can determine which storage device in the server rack has a problem and can send an out-of-band request to the management controller indicating the error associated with a particular storage device. The request includes a command to operate a light associated with the failed storage device. The management controller can then generate commands for operating the status light associated with the failed storage device via at least one of a light controller or a SAS expander.

    Abstract: A server system includes an enclosure, a first section, a motherboard section, a fan section, and a midplane board. The first section is disposed at a first end of the enclosure and includes at least one heat generating component. The motherboard section is disposed at a second end of the enclosure and includes at least one motherboard. The fan section is disposed between the front section and the motherboard section and includes at least one fan for directing air in from the first end and out of the second end. The midplane board is vertically interposed between the fan section and the motherboard section, and is configured to electrically and communicatively couple the at least one motherboard to one or more components in the first section, and includes one or more airflow cutouts. The one or more airflow cutouts of the midplane board make up at least thirty percent of a cross-sectional surface area of the midplane board.
