摘要: A multimedia system is provided for a scalable infotainment system of a motor vehicle. The scalable infotainment system includes a camera, which is releasably attached to the motor vehicle and supports camera software components for generating a media signal. The multimedia system includes a media player and a computer attached to the motor vehicle. The computer has a processor and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium, which stores player software components including multiple streaming protocols used by the media player to play a media stream. The processor is programmed to transmit to the camera a player setup signal including data associated with the player software components. The processor is further programmed to receive from the camera a media signal associated with a media stream generated by the camera by using a common one of the streaming protocols supported by the camera and the media player.

摘要: A full-automatic calibration method and apparatus oriented to a structured light 3D vision system are disclosed. For an erected 3D vision system, full-automatic calibration can be completed without moving the 3D vision system; and for an unfixed 3D vision system, full-automatic calibration can be completed without manual operation. By using the full-automatic calibration method oriented to the structured light 3D vision system, on one hand, non-professionals can easily complete calibration of structured light 3D imaging; and on the other hand, a problem of calibrating a large number of 3D cameras can also be solved.

摘要: A core assembly for a plate-and-fin heat exchanger includes a pair of core plates and a heat-absorbing member disposed within the passageway that secures the pair of core plates together. The heat-absorbing member defines a plurality of fins that each include one or more bending points, and each bending point creates two points of contact between a core plate and the heat-absorbing member.

摘要: A vehicle seat restraint system includes a vehicle seat of a vehicle. The vehicle seat includes a leg-rest supporting lower legs and feet of an occupant of the vehicle seat. An in-vehicle occupant detection system identifies positions of the lower legs and the feet of the occupant. A restraint actuator is connected to the vehicle seat. A safety restraint element is extended by actuation of the restraint actuator from a stowed position proximate to the leg-rest into an engaged position wherein the safety restraint element contacts and restrains the lower legs and the feet of the occupant against the leg-rest, mitigating against occupant knee hyperextension due to leg straightening at an occupant knee joint.

摘要: Method of detecting and overcoming degradation of image quality during a weather event and activation of windshield wipers. The method takes a high-contrast region of interest (ROI) of an image captured by a camera of a vehicle vision system, applies a Laplacian Operator that focuses on the pixel level in the ROI, and calculates a variance of the Laplacian. Images having an ROI below a predetermined variance threshold are classified or flagged as a low-quality image. Once a low-quality image is flagged, the camera settings can be readjusted in a feedback loop to compensate for the loss in quality of the captured image. This method may be stored as a software routine and implemented by a vision control module of the vision system.

摘要: A hybrid augmented reality head-up display system for displaying graphics upon a windscreen of a vehicle includes a windscreen having a transparent substrate including light emitting particles dispersed within, a primary graphic projection device for generating a first set of images upon the windscreen of the vehicle based on visible light, and a secondary graphic projection device for generating a second set of images upon a secondary area the windscreen of the vehicle based on an excitation light. The first set of images are displayed upon a primary area of the windscreen. The light emitting particles in the windscreen emit visible light in response to absorbing the excitation light. The first set of images displayed upon the primary area of the windscreen cooperate with the second set of images displayed upon the secondary area of the windscreen to create an edge-to-edge augmented reality view.

摘要: Method for a runtime measurement of a signal between two events. A phase shift between the signal on the occurrence of a first event and the signal on the occurrence of a second event is determined, and to an arrangement for performing the method has the underlying object of providing a runtime measurement of a signal between a first event and a second event that can be carried out with a high accuracy, at a high speed, and with a low computational effort. A modulation signal is generated whose phase position is determined as a first signature for the occurrence of the signal in the first event. The phase position of the modulation signal is determined as a second signature for the occurrence of the signal in the second event; and in that the runtime is determined as a difference of the phase positions of the first and second signatures.

摘要: A data analytics system for a vehicle includes one or more controllers having a multi-layered control software architecture including two or more software layers and a health monitoring structure. The one or more controllers execute instructions to receive a fault, and in response to receiving the fault, generate, by the health monitoring structure, a plurality of unique triggers as the fault propagates throughout the multi-layered control software architecture. The controllers build a network including a plurality of propagation paths and identify one or more main propagation paths that are part of the network based on a data analysis of a mock big data set. The one or more controllers build a complete propagation pathway including two or more main propagation paths. In response to determining only one main propagation path, the controllers determine a root cause of the fault based on the only one main propagation path.
