Abstract: The invention relates to a diagnostic platform for detection of biomarkers associated with a particular condition, disease, or disorder and methods of making and using the same. In various embodiments, the diagnostic platform includes a sensing device and an electronic reading platform. Aspects of the invention are directed to a diagnostic platform for detection of at least one biomarker in a fluid sample. In embodiments, the diagnostic platform comprises a sensing device configured to receive the fluid sample. The platform can further comprise an electronic reading platform and a computing device. Abstract: A wound dressing includes: a structural material formed into a dressing; at least one immunomodulatory agent associated with the dressing; and a growth factor associated with the dressing. A wound dressing kit includes: a structural material formed into a wound dressing; an immunomodulatory agent; and a growth factor composition, wherein the structural material contains the immunomodulatory agent and/or the immunomodulatory agent is in a separate composition. A method of treating a wound in a tissue includes: applying an immunomodulatory agent to the wound; applying a wound dressing to the wound; and allowing the wound to heal with the immunomodulatory agent and wound dressing. The application of a growth factor can be before, during and/or after applying the wound dressing to the wound.

Abstract: A two-dimensional scalable high-power optical phased array architecture with beam steering is provided. The present disclosure is related to integrated optical transmitters wherein an array of antenna elements together with laser sources can transmit high-power optical signals. Abstract: A series of functionalized imidazophenthridine analogue-based blue phosphorescent emitters have been designed, where bulky substituents (e.g., tetrabutyl, phenyl, mesityl, triisopropylbenzene, etc.) are introduced on an imidazophenthridine fragment of the emitters. Bulky substituents may suppress potential excimer formation, as well as improve the solubility of the complexes.
