Abstract:
The present invention relates to composite elements constructed from an outer layer (i), a fiber-reinforced polyurethane (PU) material which contains in-mold release additives as a supporting layer (ii), and optionally, a decorative inner layer (iii). This invention also relates to suitable processes for the production of these composite elements and to body components comprising these composite elements.
Abstract:
This invention relates to solvent-free two-component polyurethane reactive adhesives comprising (A) a polyisocyanate component based on diphenylmethane diisocyanates, (B) a water-containing polyol component having a maximum of three OH groups, a water content of 0.25 to 2.0 wt. %, and an OH value of 300 to 600, and optionally (C) auxiliary substances and additives, wherein component (A) and component (B) are present in proportionate amounts such that the isocyanate index is 120 to 250. These adhesives are used for producing sandwich-type interior panelling for vehicles.
Abstract:
The invention relates to foams of high thermal stability, to the production thereof from organic polyisocyanates and polyepoxides, and to the use of the foams.
Abstract:
A water-using household appliance includes a treatment chamber, a water softener for wash or rinse water, a regenerating device associated with the water softener and configured to contain a supply of brine, and a storage container disposed in a thermally conductive relationship with the treatment chamber. The storage container includes a liquor volume, a regeneration volume for producing the brine supply, and a first outlet operable for substantially emptying the storage container.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the production of fiber-reinforced composite components in which an outer film is bonded with a layer containing fiber-reinforced polyurethane, characterised in that a) first an elastic intermediate layer which has a modulus of elasticity of 0.5 MPa to 50 MPa and a thickness of 0.3 mm to 6 mm, is applied to the outer film which has a thickness in the range of 0.2 mm to 5 mm, and then b) at least one other layer is applied to the back of the intermediate layer, at least one layer containing fiber-reinforced polyurethane being applied.
Abstract:
An electrical appliance including a housing containing an electric motor and a storage battery pack for energizing the electric motor at an operating voltage of more than 42 volts. The storage battery pack includes a plurality of storage battery cells electrically connected so as to form at least two cell groups having a cell voltage of less than 42 volts. A connector assembly includes a bridge circuit configured to electrically connect the cell groups with each other so as to provide the operating voltage of more than 42 volts while establishing electrical connection between the storage battery pack and the electric motor.
Abstract:
A dishwasher apparatus includes a dish rack having a wire member, and a feed tube for a spray arm rotatably disposed beneath the dish rack. An intensive washing zone is provided in a region of the dish rack, the intensive washing zone including a rod-shaped pipe element attached to the wire member and having an outlet nozzle. A pipe branch for the intensive washing zone is provided, the pipe branch being disposed in a region of the feed tube and communicating with the pipe element via a T-piece. An actuator is provided that cooperates with the pipe element so as to enable the intensive washing zone to be activated and deactivated.
Abstract:
A method for dispensing a liquid or pasty cleaning agent and a liquid or pasty bleaching agent into a wash tub of a household dishwasher that includes a housing and a dispensing system disposed in the housing. The dispensing system separately stores and discharges the cleaning agent and bleaching agent. The method includes providing the dispensing system with respective reservoirs for each of the cleaning agent and the bleaching agent that have different capacities from each other. Each of the capacities are larger than needed for a single wash cycle. A first quantity of the cleaning agent and a second quantity of the bleaching agent are dispensed during a wash cycle, and the ratio of the dispensed quantities corresponds to the ratio of the capacities of the respective reservoirs.
Abstract:
A suction hose for a vacuum cleaner includes a first hose part, a second hose part, and a jacket part. The first hose part is variable in length and includes a hose wall having a coil spring integrated therein, the coil spring being configured to automatically return the first hose part from an extended position to a shortened position. The second hose part is operably connected to the first hose part. The jacket part is configured to receive the first hose part. The jacket part has a length at least equal to a maximum extended length of the first hose part.
Abstract:
A dishwasher includes a housing, a dish rack movably disposed in the housing, and a first and a second roller respectively disposed on opposite sides of the dish rack. The first and second rollers are configured to movably support the dish rack on respective first and second running surfaces. A respective angle of inclination of at least a respective portion of the first and second running surfaces is adjustable so as to enable the dish rack to automatically move outward from the housing.
