Abstract:
Provided are 1) a method for forming a ruthenium film under a single process condition, whereby high adhesion of the ruthenium film to a lower layer is maintained, and 2) a method for manufacturing an metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitor using the ruthenium film forming method. The method for forming a ruthenium film includes supplying bis(isoheptane-2,4-dionato)norbornadiene ruthenium at a flow rate of 0.2-1 ccm and oxygen at a flow rate of 20-60 sccm, and depositing the ruthenium film at a temperature of 330-430° C. under a pressure of 0.5-5 Torr using chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
Abstract:
An externally controlled device for braking a spool of a baitcast fishing reel is provided for dramatically extending the casting distance. This device comprises a brake frame, a movable housing, a control knob, a brake ring, a rotator housing, a plurality of L-shaped brake pads with different lengths, a fixing cover, and a retaining ring. A braking force is controlled according to a stepwise rotation of the control knob for adjusting a clearance between a movable housing and the brake ring, The brake pad elastically supported by the coil spring is pushed outward against the resilient force of coil spring by a centrifugal force at the high speed rotation of spool. When the rotating speed of the spool falls below a certain level, the brake pads are separated from the brake ring for free-rotation of the spool.

Abstract:
A digital-to-analog converter employs current drive circuits connected to an output voltage terminal. At least one of the current drive circuits includes a current division circuit that splits current from a first power source into a plurality of current paths in response to at least a first bias voltage. A current dissipation circuit is between one of the paths and a second power supply source, and a current switching circuit selectably connects another of the paths to the voltage terminal, which is connected to the second power source through a voltage establishing device. The switching circuit responds to one of the digital bits.
Abstract:
According to example embodiments, a photoelectric conversion device includes a first electrode including a light-receiving surface, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode and facing the first electrode, and an auxiliary layer between the second electrode and an exciton producing layer. The first electrode may be on the second electrode. The exciton producing layer may be between the first electrode and the second electrode. The exciton producing layer may be spaced apart from the second electrode by a distance corresponding to one of a crest and a trough of a standing wave of light to be converted into electricity.
Abstract:
Provided are a three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound system and a method for operating the 3D ultrasound system. The 3D ultrasound system may include a display unit to form an image with respect to an object in the body and to display the image on a screen, and a control unit to generate a figure template corresponding to the image, to adjust the generated figure template based on a reference location of the image, and to superimpose the adjusted figure template on the image and display the resulting combination.
Abstract:
Embodiments for performing surface rendering upon volume data in an ultrasound system are disclosed. An ultrasound data acquisition unit transmits and receives ultrasound signals to and from a target object to thereby acquire ultrasound data corresponding to a plurality of frames. A volume data forming unit forms volumes data corresponding to the plurality of frames based on the ultrasound data. The volume data includes a plurality of voxels. A processing unit detects edges of a region of interest (ROI) of the target object in the volume data and performs surface rendering upon voxels within the detected edges to thereby form a 3-dimensional ultrasound image.
