    摘要: A regulating device is proposed for an internal combustion engine having a throttle device and a controllable bypass channel in the intake tube, where regulation is effected to a minimum volume (Q/n) in overrunning above a predetermined rpm value and to the idling rpm below this rpm value. The purpose of this regulating device is the substantially precise preliminary control of an adjustment member in the bypass channel around the throttle valve to the opening cross section required for idling. The regulating device includes a switchover device (alternating switch), to the input terminals of which the output signals of the regulators for volumetric value and for idling rpm are applied. In the case of temperature-dependent minimum and threshold volumetric values, good warmup performance can be attained.

    摘要: A starting device for an internal combustion engine includes a switching control device for controlling a starter motor. At least one power switching module connects the starter motor to a voltage source and is activated via an assigned control line. A control electronics is provided for controlling the at least one power switching module. A release device which records the power flow of the internal combustion engine makes available, as a function of the running of the internal combustion engine, a release signal for the release of the activating switching procedure by the at least one control line. The release device includes a first release switching channel that works independently of the control electronics and a second release switching channel that cooperates with control electronics. These are set up in such a way that an initiation of the activating switching procedure takes place only during the simultaneous release switching setting of the two release switching channels. A diagnosis device of the switching control device, at the ending of making available the release signal for the activating switching procedure by the release device, records the release switching setting of the first release switching channel. This makes possible the monitoring of the function of the first release switching channel, which increases the safety of the starting procedure. A method utilizing the components described for starting an internal combustion engine is also described.

    摘要: A starting device for an internal combustion engine includes a switching control device for controlling a starter motor. At least one power switching module connects the starter motor to a voltage source and is activated via an assigned control line. The apparatus includes a function-inhibiting device, associated with a connection between the control unit and the connector element of an electrical supply lead, which immobilizes the control unit and the connection element in a predetermined connected position with respect to one another. Disconnection from this connected position without damage is possible only after delivery of an unlocking code to the control unit. If an attempt at forcible disconnection is made, the function-inhibiting device causes an irreversible interruption in the associated connection.

    摘要: A system for changing the gear ratio with a multi-step reduction gear, where a flywheel is accelerated or decelerated during a change in gear ratio. The flywheel, consisting essentially of engine components and the converter, must be accelerated in downshifting operations, for example, while the flywheel is decelerated in upshifting operations. To change the gear ratio, at least two different selectable strategies are given. A first value representing the engine output torque and a second value representing the torque demand for acceleration or deceleration of the flywheel are detected first. To change the gear ratio, one of the above-mentioned strategies is then selected, depending on a comparison of the first value detected with the second value detected. To determine the engine output torque in the actual shifting operation, it is predicted from the instantaneous load signal and parameters that depend on the throttle valve angle.
