    摘要: A human Vascular IBP-Like Growth Factor polypeptide (VIGF) and DNA (RNA) encoding such polypeptide and a procedure for producing such polypeptide by recombinant techniques is disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for utilizing such polypeptide for wound healing or tissue regeneration, stimulating implant fixation and angiogenesis. Antagonist against such polypeptides and their use as a therapeutic to treat atherosclerosis, tumors and scarring are also disclosed. Diagnostic assays for identifying mutations in VIGF nucleic acid sequences and altered levels of the VIGF polypeptide are also disclosed.

In particular, the fusions proteins may include albumin fused to a single chain insulin analog. The fusion proteins may exhibit extended insulin activity in vivo or in vitro relative to insulin that is not fused to albumin. The fusion proteins may be formulated as aerosol compositions.

    摘要: The invention relates generally to fusion proteins comprising at least one therapeutic protein or vaccine antigen and alpha fetoprotein. The therapeutic protein or vaccine antigen can be, for example, a peptide, antibody, fragment thereof, or variant thereof. The therapeutic protein or vaccine antigen is fused to alpha-fetoprotein, an alpha-fetoprotein fragment, or an alpha-fetoprotein variant.
