Abstract:
A system for bookmarking viewer selected TV broadcast events and displaying a set of associated internet locations or website hotlinks, comprising the selection of a set of broadcast events using a remote control, and storing a set of event-identifier data associated with the set of selected broadcast events in an activity table, and then generating a set of associated internet locations or website hotlinks by comparing the set of event identifiers with a database of TV schedules, events and company information. The generated set of associated internet locations or website hotlinks can then be used by viewer for access to and display of the selected internet locations associated with the set of selected broadcast events.
Abstract:
A display system includes a display arranged in sight of a viewer, a sensory subsystem configured to sense an ocular condition of the viewer, and a controller. Operatively coupled to the display and to the sensory subsystem, the controller is configured to adjust an operating parameter of the display system in response to the ocular condition, in order to prevent or relieve eye discomfort experienced by the viewer.
Abstract:
Techniques for media device, application, and content management using sensory input are described, including receiving input from one or more sensors coupled to a data-capable strapband, processing the input to determine a pattern, referencing a pattern library using the pattern, generating a control signal to a media application, the control signal being determined based on whether the pattern matches another pattern in the pattern library, and selecting a media file configured to be presented, the media file being selected using the control signal.
Abstract:
Techniques for data-capable band management in an integrated application and network communication data environment are described, including receiving input from one or more sensors coupled to a wearable computing device, receiving a parameter used to determine when a synchronization between the wearable computing device and a device in data communication with the wearable computing device is to be performed, processing the input to determine if the parameter is satisfied, performing the synchronization between the wearable computing device and the device if the parameter is satisfied, and presenting an interface on the device, the interface being configured to display information associated with the synchronization.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, computer software, wired and wireless network communications, wearable, hand held, and portable computing devices for facilitating communication of information. More specifically, disclosed are wireless media devices that include image projection systems and/or binaural microphone systems for media presentations. The image projection system may comprise a miniature video projector, such as a pico-projector or the like, for example. Audio and video content may be streamed or otherwise accessed from the Cloud, the Internet, or a streaming service, for example. A wireless media device incorporating the image projection system and/or binaural microphone system may also record the audio and video content using those systems.

Abstract:
Techniques for managing a network of speaker lights and wearable devices using intelligent connection managers are described. Disclosed are techniques for receiving data representing a distance between a wearable device and a speaker light, the speaker light associated with an identifier, and generating an audio control signal and a light control signal as a function of the distance. The audio control signal may include data representing an audio parameter and data representing the identifier, and the light control signal may include data representing a light parameter and data representing the identifier. Presentation of an audio signal using the audio parameter and a light using the light parameter may be caused at the speaker light. The audio signal and the light may be substantially directed towards the wearable device or a user.

Abstract:
Techniques for data-capable band management in an integrated application and network communication data environment are described, including storing in memory a first operational mode and a second operational mode, the first operational mode being associated with a parameter and being configured to operate on an input received from one or more sensors coupled to a wearable computing device using a rule, setting the second operational mode, receiving data at the wearable computing device, the data comprising the input received from the one or more sensors while in the second operational mode, generating a signal indicating whether the data matches the parameter of the first operational mode substantially within a tolerance, classifying the input as received in the first operational mode if the signal indicates the data matches the parameter substantially within the tolerance, and performing an operation on the input using the rule of the first operational mode.
