    摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus ejects ink from recording heads to a recording paper, thereby attaching the ink to the medium for recording. The apparatus includes a carriage driving motor, a transfer motor, a scanner which reciprocates a carriage having the recording heads in a scanning direction, and a transfer machine. The transfer machine transfers the recording paper in a transfer direction perpendicular to the scanning direction. Both of the motors are located at approximately the same place in an ejecting direction of ink from the heads to the paper, and at the same height of a transfer path of the paper or on the carriage side with respect to the transfer path.

    摘要: The present invention is intended to solve the problem that the tip of the probe of a scanning probe microscope cannot be conditioned stably due to overload in a contact region. This problem is solved by a scanning probe microscope for scanning the probe and a sample relative to each other. The microscope has a cantilever, a vibration means for vibrating the cantilever, and a vibration signal-switching means for switching a vibration signal applied to the vibration means between at least two different signals. The cantilever has a resilient body that supports the probe.

    摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus ejects ink from recording heads to a recording paper, thereby attaching the ink to the medium for recording.     摘要: There is disclosed a scanning probe microscope for producing a topographic image of a surface of a sample by noncontact AFM (atomic force microscopy). First, a first topographic image of the sample undergoing magnetic effects is produced from the resonance frequency of a cantilever by FM detection. Then, a second topographic image of the sample free of magnetic effects is produced from the amplitude of the cantilever by slope detection. The difference between these two topographic images is taken. Thus, a magnetic force image is produced.
