Abstract:
For data transmission in a digital mobile communication system, in a mobile communication system employing a so-called multi-channel access technique, one or more traffic channels may be allocated to a mobile station for data transfer, in accordance with the data transfer rate required by the application using the mobile station. Minimum and maximum requirements are determined for the data transfer rate of the user data. The mobile communication network dynamically adjusts the channel configuration assignment to the mobile station for the data call, so as to consist of one or more traffic channels, within the limits of the minimum and maximum requirements of the data transfer rate, depending on the changing allocation state of the resources of the mobile communication network.
Abstract:
A delay circuit provides a quadrature-delayed strobe, a tightly controlled quadrature DLL and write/read leveling delay lines by using the same physical delay line pair. By multiplexing different usage models, the need for multiple delay lines is significantly reduced to only two delay lines per byte. As a result, the delay circuit provides substantial saving in terms of layout area and power.

An adjustable-voltage Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch provides data signals and output electrical powers to a multiple number of output PoE ports. The adjustable-voltage PoE switch has an output voltage-adjusting interface, allowing a user to select a specific power level or a specific output voltage for the particular output PoE port. The adjustable-voltage PoE can also include a conventional IEEE 802.3af-compliant power mode for further utilizing PoE in communicating and powering up external devices. A plurality of light indicators corresponding to the multiple number of output PoE ports provides further convenience by indicating a specific power level or a specific output voltage for a particular output PoE port using a particular color in each color-changing light indicator.
Abstract:
An airtight self-venting composite film for food packaging device has a substrate film formed with a plurality of micro-gap regions and a sealing adhesive tape covering the plurality of micro-gap regions through an adhesive layer. The composite film is applied to a food packaging device, such containers or bags, which provides an airtight structure. In use, foodstuffs can be tightly sealed in the food packaging device to be refrigerated or frozen. When cooking the foodstuffs, the sealing adhesive tape can be optionally removed for reuse before microwaving. The food packaging device in refrigerated or frozen status is then heated up with a microwave oven without causing burst of the food packaging device when heating, for the self-venting composite film regulates the steam at high temperature and build-up high pressure.
Abstract:
A composite film for packaging foods enable to regulate pressure inside automatically when being heated and the progress of making it are provided. The composite film comprises a substrate film provided with a plurality of micro-gap regions processed by impressing process and an adhesive film attached to an airtight film. The composite film is applied to a food packaging devices which has an airtight structure. In use, the food packaging device can receive foods for microwave heating while the airtight film and the micro-gap region are used to prevent the food packaging device from breaking while preventing the steam vast losing and foods from becoming drier.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for providing data security scanning in a network. A network device ascertains, based on a network's security policy, security technologies that are should or must be applied to the network traffic. The network device applies the not yet applied security technologies, based on a determination that the not yet applied security technologies are available to the network device. Next, the network device tags the network traffic with a security marker indicating the not yet applied security technologies as applied to reflect the security technologies applied to the network traffic.
Abstract:
A client installation and execution system for streamed applications requires the user or administrator to obtain a subscription to the streamed application program from a subscription server before installation of the streamed application program begins. The client then obtains an encrypted access token for the streamed application program from a license server upon acknowledgment of a valid license, receives an installation information block from the server, and installs the proper icons, aliases, and description onto the client that give the user the proper look and feel of the original application program. A file spoofer is installed on the client that redirects file accesses from the client's local file system to the streaming server's file system. A registry spoofer is provided on the client for intercepting all registry calls on the client and redirecting calls that manipulate certain registries to an alternate path specified in a registry database on the client. An application page cache is also provided on the client that is managed by a cache manager that requests application pages of the streamed application program from the server. During execution of the streamed application program, page requests are generated and the cache manager requests any application pages from the server that are not resident in the application page cache and places the requested application pages in the application page cache.
