摘要： A SnO.sub.2 semiconductor gas sensor for use in a cooking apparatus to detect the cooking condition is manufactured through an aging treatment for stabilizing the operation of the SnO.sub.2 semiconductor gas sensor. In the aging treatment, the SnO.sub.2 semiconductor gas sensor is disposed in a gas ambience including a gas which is developed in the cooking apparatus. More specifically, the gas ambience includes a dimethyl siloxane gas which is developed from a heated silicone compound. The gas ambience in the aging treatment is held at a high temperature, for example, 150.degree. C. through 250.degree. C. to provide the SnO.sub.2 semiconductor gas sensor of which the resistance value and sensitivity are stable even in the high temperature ambience when oven cooking is performed by the cooking apparatus.

摘要： A microwave oven comprises a thermistor and a gas sensor disposed in an exhaustion duct for detecting an exhaustion air temperature and an exhaustion gas concentration, respectively. A menu selection manual lever is disposed on a control panel for selecting a desired cooking menu. A microwave generation control circuit is correlated with the menu selection manual lever in such a manner that the microwave generation is terminated when the thermistor output reaches a preselected value under the condition where a preselected group of cooking menu is selected through the menu selection manual lever, and the microwave generation is terminated when the gas sensor output reaches a predetermined value under the condition where another group of cooking menu is selected through the menu selection manual lever.

摘要： A combined microwave and electric heating cooking apparatus comprising a magnetron for microwave cooking purposes, a sheath heater for electric heating cooking purposes, and a cooking control circuit for controlling operations of the magnetron and the sheath heater. A gas sensor is disposed in an exhaustion gas path for detecting the concentration of the gas generated from a foodstuff. When an output signal of the gas sensor indicates that the gas concentration reaches a preselected value, the cooking control circuit develops a control signal for terminating the cooking. Selection switches are provided for determining the above-mentioned preselected value in accordance with the kind of the foodstuff to be cooked.

摘要： A common-mode choking coil comprises a closed magnetic path core which is formed, for example, by combining two U-shaped cores. Two coils wound in opposite respective directions are mounted on two legs of the closed magnetic path core. These coils are formed by single-layer winding. That is a conductor wire is wound in only one layer, for example, around a bobbin. Then, the bobbins whereon the conductor wire is wound are mounted on the two legs of the closed magnetic path core. For the conductor wire used for the coil, a material having a spring property may be used. Utilizing this spring property of the coil, the closed magnetic path core can be held together by the coil, whereby the two U-shaped cores can be combined. Also, the two coils are identified by colors according to the winding direction of the respective conductor wires.

摘要： A surface mountable connector to be mounted on a printed substrate has a plurality of connector pins projecting from the rear surface to be connected with wiring patterns on the printed substrate through a connector pin holder. The connector pin holder has a plurality of through holes at a pitch equal to that of the connector pins and a plurality of conductive patterns on the outside thereof corresponding to the through holes. The connector pins are inserted into the through holes in the connector holder and electrically connected to the conductive patterns corresponding to the through holes respectively, and the connector pin holder is placed on the wiring patterns on the printed substrate with the conductive patterns on the outer surface connected to the wiring patterns on the surface of the printed substrate by soldering, thereby electrically connecting the tip of each connector pin to a corresponding wiring pattern on the surface of the printed substrate.
