    摘要: A method for submitting a TCP segment stream to a in-line content analysis comprises: receiving from a TCP emitter a first TCP data segments stream corresponding to a given TCP connection between the TCP emitter and a TCP receiver; extracting and re-assembling a first byte stream from the TCP segment stream; passing a second byte stream, which is derived from the first byte stream, to a content analyser (200) adapted to perform a content analysis on the second byte stream; relaying to the TCP receiver a second TCP data segment stream with a byte stream content totally consistent with the byte stream passed to the content analyser. In order to keep the device (100) that implements the method as stealthy as possible, the second TCP data segment stream has the same number of data segments as the first TCP data segment stream, all segments in the second TCP data segment stream being of same size and having the same header as corresponding segments in the first TCP data segment stream.

The key input section inputs a selection instruction for selecting one of a plurality of sound sources in response to a manipulation. The microcomputer 6, in cooperation with a level adjusting ratio setting library, a level adjusting pattern generator and a volume adjuster, selects the sound source designated by the selection instruction, calculates the level difference ΔP between the playback volume level of the sound data of the current piece of music and that of the next piece of music of the selected sound source, and adjusts the playback volume level of the next sound data in accordance with an adjusting ratio corresponding to the level difference.

    摘要: A speech coding apparatus comprises a repetition period pre-selecting unit for generating a plurality of candidates for the repetition period of a driving excitation source by multiplying the repetition period of an adaptive excitation source by a plurality of constant numbers, respectively, and for pre-selecting a predetermined number of candidates from all the candidates generated. A driving excitation source coding unit provides both excitation source location information and excitation source polarity information that minimize a coding distortion, for each of the predetermined number of candidates, and provides an evaluation value associated with the minimum coding distortion for each of the predetermined number of candidates. A repetition period coding unit compares the evaluation values provided for the predetermined number of candidates with one another, selects one candidate from the predetermined number of candidates according to the comparison result, and furnishes selection information indicating the selection result, excitation source location code, and polarity code.

    摘要: Image data defining a reference image and each input image in a sequence of images is processed to detect changes in the images. A value is calculated for each pixel defining the spatial rate of change of homogeneity of the image data at that pixel. Different regions of pixels in each image are selected and the values within each region are concatenated to define a vector for each region. The vectors are then processed to compare corresponding regions in each image. The results of the comparison define a correlation map identifying areas in the images in which change has occurred.

    摘要: A vehicle-mounted electronic control apparatus can perform a variety of abnormality detections while reducing the control load of a microprocessor in the abnormality detection of a volatile backup memory that is backed up by an on-board battery. The apparatus includes a control CPU which is fed with power from a main power supply circuit upon closure of a power switch, a nonvolatile control memory and a backup memory. Even if the power switch is opened, the backup memory, being a partial area of a RAM memory, is fed with power through an auxiliary power supply circuit connected directly to the battery. When the battery is replaced with a new one and connected again, a power supply interruption monitoring memory is reset. At the start of operation of the control CPU, the backup memory is initialized based on reset information, and the power supply interruption monitoring memory is rewritten into a set state.

    摘要: Each of an image coding apparatus and an image decoding apparatus uses a motion compensated prediction using virtual samples so as to detect a motion vector for each of regions of each frame of an input signal. Accuracy of virtual samples is locally determined while the accuracy of virtual samples is associated with the size of each region which is a motion vector detection unit in which a motion vector is detected. Virtual samples having half-pixel accuracy are used for motion vector detection unit regions having a smaller size 8×8 MC, such as blocks of 8×4 size, blocks of 4×8 size, and blocks of 4×4 size, and virtual samples having ¼-pixel accuracy are used for motion vector detection unit regions that are equal to or larger than 8×8 MC in size.
