    摘要: An axle alignment system for a multi-axle trailer includes a mounting bracket, a mounting pin, at least one original equipment spacer, and at least one adjustable spacer. When the mounting bracket is utilized with the mounting pin and the original equipment spacer, the axle alignment system will only exclusively assume a nonadjustable, standard configuration. In contrast, when the mounting bracket is utilized with the mounting pin and the adjustable spacer, the axle alignment system will be activated and assume one of multiple possible adjusted configurations allowing one to align an axle of a multi-axle trailer.

    摘要: For adjusting the supporting load of a central axle trailer equipped with at least two axles having pneumatic suspensions and a pneumatic suspension system that includes separate pneumatic suspension circuits on the axles with pneumatic suspensions, a method and electronic control device are provided by which the respective quantities of air are separately adjustable. When the current supporting load exceeds a permitted supporting load range, the current supporting load is reduced by separate alteration of the quantity of air in at least one of the pneumatic suspension circuits; and, when the current supporting load is below the permitted supporting load range, the current supporting load is increased by separate alteration of the quantity of air in at least one of the pneumatic suspension circuits.

    摘要: The invention relates to a tipping haul body such as a tipping trailer (10). The tipping trailer (10) includes at least one axle (12) and a tub base (40). The tub base (40) is arranged to support the load of a payload receiving tub (20) of the trailer (10) and to transmit that load via the at least one axle (12) to a ground surface. The tub base (40) and the tub (20) are arranged to be connected together and to pivot together about a pivot axis (P1) when the trailer (10) is activated to dump a payload from the tub (20). The invention also relates to a tipping and suspension unit for a haul body such as trailer or a dolly.

The air suspension system further includes an air reservoir in fluid communication with the front axle air spring and the rear axle air spring and a ratio valve in fluid communication with the air reservoir, the front axle air spring, and the rear axle air spring. The ratio valve is positioned between the air reservoir and the front axle air spring. Further, the ratio valve is selectively operable to send a lesser amount of air from the air reservoir to the front axle air spring than to the rear axle air spring.

    摘要: A vehicle suspension system includes a pair of suspension assemblies mounted on a pair of spaced vehicle frame members for supporting a vehicle body on the vehicle wheels. A torsion axle extends between the pair of suspension assemblies and terminates in a pair of stub shafts. The axle is mounted on a pair of spaced frame bars attached to the vehicle frame. An air spring extends between the vehicle frame and an outer end of a support arm mounted on the torsion axle. The stub shafts are supported within an outer tube of the torsion axle by a plurality of elastomeric members. One end of each stub shaft is connected to a spindle arm which has a spindle extending from an opposite end of the arm. The outer tube of the torsion axle pivotally supports the air spring support arm and the axis of the torsion axle is coaxial with the pivot axis of the air spring support arm to provide a more compact and sturdy suspension assembly.
