    Abstract: A driving rotor is rotational about a rotational shaft center in conjunction with a crankshaft. A driven rotor is rotational about the rotational shaft center in conjunction with the camshaft. A deceleration mechanism is configured to change a relative rotational phase between the driving rotor and the driven rotor by using a driving force of an electric motor. The deceleration mechanism includes an internal gear portion, which includes an internal tooth formed inward in a radial direction, and an external gear portion, which includes an external tooth formed outward in a radial direction and engages with the internal tooth. A linear expansion coefficient of the external gear portion is larger than a linear expansion coefficient of the internal gear portion.

    Abstract: An electric phaser for dynamically adjusting the phase of a camshaft relative to a crankshaft with a split ring planetary drive. The split ring planetary drive including: a sun gear driven by a motor, a plurality of planetary gears with stop teeth, a first ring gear driven by the crankshaft, and a second ring gear rotatable with the camshaft. Either the first or second ring gears each include a first and a second stop. When the stop teeth of the planetary gears interacts with the first stop or the second stop on either the first or second ring gears, rotation of the phaser further in the first direction or the second direction towards the first or second stops is halted.

    Abstract: A camshaft adjuster (1) for driving and/or adjusting a camshaft (2) of an internal combustion engine, including a stator (3) and a concentric rotor (6) which is arranged within the stator in a rotatable manner. At least the stator (3) has a central receiving area (31) for receiving the camshaft (2), and at least one projection (13) which protrudes radially inwards is provided on a radial inner edge (12) of the central receiving area (31) in order to engage behind a camshaft (2) connecting piece (20) which protrudes radially outwards. A camshaft adjuster/camshaft combination (26) including such a camshaft adjuster (1) and a camshaft (2) which has a connecting piece (20) that projects radially. The projection (13) preferably engages behind the connecting piece (20). A method for assembling the camshaft adjuster/camshaft combination (26) is also provided.

    Abstract: The valve opening/closing timing control device includes: a driving rotating body; a driven rotating body; a fixed shaft portion; a fluid pressure chamber; a partitioning portion; and a phase control unit for controlling a rotation phase by supplying/discharging pressurized fluid to/from an advancing chamber or a retarding chamber via an inside of the fixed shaft portion. The driven rotating body has: an inner circumferential member with a cylindrical portion, and a coupling plate portion of the camshaft, the cylindrical portion and the coupling plate portion being integrated with each other; and an outer circumferential member provided with the partitioning portion. The outer circumferential member includes the inner circumferential member in a unified manner so as to have the same rotational axis. The inner circumferential member is formed with an iron-based material. The outer circumferential member is formed with a material that is lighter in weight than the iron-based material.
