A switchboard is for a power distribution system having a number of electrical lines. The switchboard includes: an enclosure assembly having a chassis; a switching assembly including a plurality of circuit breakers each coupled to the chassis, each of the circuit breakers having a number of terminal lugs structured to be electrically connected to a corresponding one of the electrical lines; and an isolating assembly including a plurality of isolating apparatus, at least one isolating apparatus being coupled to one of the plurality of circuit breakers. The isolating apparatus separates the number of terminal lugs of the one circuit breaker from the number of terminal lugs of each of the other circuit breakers.

A ferrule for an implantable medical device (IMD) can employ stamped metal portion including an electrically-conductive ferrule portion. The stamped ferrule portion can be affixed to a wall of a housing of the IMD. The resulting ferrule can provide cost savings or higher production throughput over a ferrule employing machined ferrule portion.

A moisture-sealing and thermally-isolating miniature implement for terminating a mineral-insulated and metal-sheathed cable and connecting it to a power source, includes a hollow contact prong protruding from one axial end of a metallic heat-sink barrel penetrated from an opposite end by the steel sheath of a heating element cable. The heating element contacts a nickel or nickel clad iron pin that penetrates the prong and is welded to its most distal extremity. The sheath is welded to the proximal end of the barrel by a hermetic brazed joint, and the distal end of the barrel is hermetically plugged around the prong by a metalized alumina ceramic seal. The copper pin is connected to the end of the heating element within the sheath and mineral insulation. The barrel is machined to have a series of deep peripheral grooves that act as thermal conductivity reducing chokes.

A solar power inverter having a sealing means includes: a main case having an opening on a front surface thereof, the opening open and closed by a main cover; an auxiliary case coupled to one side surface of the main case, and having a second opening on a front surface thereof, the second opening open and closed by an auxiliary cover; and a gasket interposed between the main case and the auxiliary case, wherein the main case and the auxiliary case are coupled to each other by coupling bolts which pass through the main case, the gasket and the auxiliary case.

In a power supply module of a linear actuator and a conversion assembly thereof, the power supply module includes a casing (10), a circuit control unit (11), and a conversion assembly (2). The casing (10) is provided with a dividing plate (102) for dividing the interior of the casing (10) into a first space (103) and a second space (104). The circuit control unit (11) is disposed in the first space (103), and the conversion assembly (2) is disposed in the second space (104). The conversion assembly (2) further includes a circuit board set (20) and a frame (21). The circuit board set (20) is electrically connected with an inductive element(A), a rectifying element(B) and a filtering element(C). The circuit board set (20) is mounted onto the frame (21) to form a modular structure.

The housing has a power cord connected to the microprocessor. The housing has a display screen located at least partly in a housing top hemisphere on a housing front side connected to the microprocessor. The housing has a keyboard located on the housing bottom hemisphere front cover connected to the microprocessor. The housing has a printer located in the housing bottom hemisphere connected to the microprocessor. A plasma source is described. The source includes a reactive impedance element formed from a plurality of electrodes. By providing such a plurality of electrodes and powering adjacent electrodes out of phase with one another, it is possible to improve the characteristics of the plasma generated.

A system and method for connecting supply power to motor control components includes use of a motor control center subunit with moveable supply power contacts. After a motor control center subunit is secured into a motor control center compartment, the supply power contacts may be advanced to engage supply power buses. For disconnection, the supply power contacts may be retracted and isolated from the buses before physical removal of the subunit.
Abstract:
Photoluminescent phosphor powders and a method for making phosphor powders. The phosphor powders have a small particle size, narrow particle size distribution and are substantially spherical. The method of the invention advantageously permits the economic production of such powders. The invention also relates to improved devices, such as display devices and lighting elements, incorporating the phosphor powders.

A liquid crystal display device includes a housing, a backlight module, a liquid crystal panel and a frame. The frame is coupled to the housing thereby assembling the liquid crystal panel and the backlight module into the liquid crystal display device. There is a fastening structure for coupling the frame to the housing. The fastening structure includes an engaging portion provided on the housing and two protrusion portions defined by a L-shaped aperture provided on the frame, wherein the engaging portion is provided at a position corresponding to the L-shaped aperture. The two protrusion portions of the frame are respectively inserted into recesses of the engaging portion of the housing and abut against the engaging portion.
