A check device includes a rotatable drive feature having a first end accessible for rotation and a second end engaged with the reaction gear. The functionality of the no-back device is evaluated by applying a rotational torque to the drive feature.

摘要: A transmission having a rotating clutch pack assembly is provided, the rotating clutch pack having an interconnecting member, a plurality of friction discs, a rotating member, a first and a second axial bearing, and a biasing member. The interconnecting member is connected for common rotation with a member of the planetary gear set. The rotating member is connected to the second set of friction discs for common rotation. The first axial bearing is disposed between the clutch piston and the plurality of friction discs and the second axial bearing is disposed between the plurality of friction discs and the transmission housing. The biasing member is disposed between the interconnecting member and the rotating member. A clutch piston selectively applies an axial force through the first axial bearing, the plurality of friction discs, and the second axial bearing to the transmission housing.

An A-chamber (61) and a B-chamber (62) each configured to move a respective one of the first piston (65) and the second piston (66) by a stroke toward a side close to the friction plates, a return spring (161) biasing the second piston (66) on a side away from the friction plates, and a stopper member (160) configured to prevent a stroke of the second piston (66) toward the side close to the friction plates from becoming greater than a given value (W) are provided. Engagement responsiveness of a L-R brake (60) does not deteriorate even when a clearance (V) in the friction plates (69a, 69c) increases.

摘要: Provided is a brake apparatus for an electric corner module (ECM) including: a housing; a shaft, of which both ends are accommodated in accommodation portions of the housing; a planet gear connected to the shafts; and a driving unit that transmits power to the shaft, moves the planet gear in an axial direction and induces friction between the housing and the planet gear. That is, in a brake apparatus for an ECM, a planet gear is moved in an axial direction using a driving unit so as to induce friction between a housing and the planet gear and thus confinement forces of the planet gear are generated so that a brake function can be implemented by blocking power transmission using a decelerator and the weight of a wheel can be reduced and the size of a power transmission system can be reduced and optimization of packaging can be implemented.

摘要: A brake mechanism includes a fixed housing in which the brake mechanism substantially resides. A plate closes the fixed housing and includes a cylindrical portion extending partially within the fixed housing. A parking piston and a service piston are employed to act against a brake stack which includes a plurality of stators and rotors interleaved together. A wear adjuster is press-tit onto the cylindrical portion of the plate and engages the service piston daring actuation of the service piston and compensates for wear of friction material from the rotors or stators such that the distance between the service piston and the brake stack is substantially the same during the life of the brake mechanism. If neither the service piston nor the parking piston engage the brake stack prohibiting rotation of the input drive, the planetary gear set drives the rotating output drive with respect to the fixed housing.

摘要: An automatic transmission comprises a multi-plate brake to brake a specified rotational element of a transmission mechanism, which includes a plurality of frictional plates, a piston, a piston cylinder member comprising cylinder in which the piston slides, and oil-pressure chambers which are formed between the piston and the cylinder and bias the piston toward the frictional plates with an oil pressure supplied thereto, and a valve body to supply the oil pressure to the oil-pressure chambers. Herein, the valve body is provided in the vicinity of an outer periphery of the piston cylinder member so as to be connected to the piston cylinder member via a connection portion, and there is provided an oil passage to supply the oil pressure from the valve body to the oil-pressure chambers via the connection portion.
