    摘要: A rotation direction detection apparatus is configured to detect the direction of rotation of a pulley that is rotatably mounted to a chain guide, and includes a rotation sensor, a detection element and a shielding mechanism. The rotation sensor is fixed to the chain guide. The detection element is mounted to the pulley such that it can be detected by the rotation sensor. The shielding mechanism has a shielding arm that is mounted to move between a shielding position where the rotation sensor cannot detect the detection element and a detection position where the rotation sensor can detect the detection element. The shielding mechanism has a linking member that moves the shielding arm in tandem with the rotation of the pulley in first or second rotational directions. The shielding mechanism has a positioning protrusion that positions the shielding arm at either the shielding position or the detection position.

    摘要: A worm shaft attachment structure for a spinning reel includes a mechanism attachment portion having a first attachment portion, and a locking member. The rear end of a worm shaft is attached to the first attachment portion, which includes an aperture portion and a bearing mounting portion that is depressed from the aperture portion in a first direction. The bearing mounting portion can come into contact with an outer circumferential surface of the first bearing, which is mounted to the rear end of the worm shaft. The locking member is mounted detachably to the first attachment portion so as to close the aperture portion, and restricts shifting of the first bearing in the first direction by abutting against the outer circumferential surface of the first bearing. This way, the precision with which a worm shaft is attached is ensured, and the restrictions on the design options are reduced.

    摘要: A sounding mechanism includes: a mount part mounted onto a rear end portion of a bobbin trunk portion and made of a synthetic resin; a disk member non-rotatably fastened to the spool shaft at the rear of the bobbin trunk portion; a pawl member mounted to the mount part so as to be relatively rotatable with the disk member; and a spring member fitted onto the mount part for urging the pawl member toward the disk member. By relative rotation between the spool and the spool shaft, the pawl member comes into contact with the disk member to produce sound. The mount part is made of a synthetic resin and is screw-fastened onto the rear end of the bobbin trunk portion by screws. The spinning-reel sounding mechanism allows reduction of the weight of the spool.

The fixed member is adapted to be fixedly coupled to a bicycle handlebar adjacent a hand gripping area of the handlebar. The rotatable member is rotatably coupled to the fixed member for rotation around the handlebar between at least two shift positions. One of the fixed and rotatable members has a visible fixed contoured line and the other of the fixed and rotatable members has a visible movable contoured line adjacent the visible fixed contoured line. The visible fixed and movable contoured lines cooperate with each other to define a geometrically shaped visible area located between them. The geometrically shaped visible area is configured to change upon rotation of the rotatable member between the shift positions to indicate at least one of the shift positions.

    摘要: A turbocharged engine control system is provided that comprises an exhaust gas after-treatment system and a variable-capacity turbocharger. The turbocharged engine control system is configured to estimate a clogging ratio of the exhaust gas after-treatment system based on an equivalent surface area of the exhaust gas after-treatment system. A correction value is determined based on a turbine outlet pressure and the correction value is added to the clogging ratio. A target nozzle opening value is corrected such that the nozzle opening value increases as the exhaust gas after-treatment system becomes more clogged. Consequently, as the exhaust gas after-treatment system becomes clogged, the increase in pressure on the inlet side of the exhaust turbine (which acts as back pressure with respect to the engine) is suppressed and the increase in the internal EGR ratio caused by residual gas is also suppressed.
